I saw the storm on the news, looked really bad dood. Sorry to hear of the damage and flooding. Did it leave you in a bad way? Remember you have friends here at your other home and if you need some help until you get things sorted again, please don't be too proud to let us know. :D

It's the same thing in the south of France, there are floods and storms (with winds at 85-90mph) :mad: it's too hot (68-74°F for december)
surely to balance the dryness of this summer (108-112°F)

Not on my pc now, house got flooded with storms here lastnight. They rekon 1 in 100 year storm and we had it :(

I was able to get some snaps. About 150 in all :D We have to get some new carpet and stuff in the lounge, and the study here will sort of be ok cos its Vinyl floors....I lost my Klipsch's though, they are sitting in the garage bogged with water inside the subby :( And every single power cable, power adapter board etc had to be replaced this afternoon.....so see what the insurance company can do about that :banana:

Wow....Take lots of pics for the insurance co...thank God for insurance. I'm not in a flood zone, but still have total replacement insurance.
When it's all settled, if you still need any parts...etc. PM me...I'm sure the community will stand with you and help all we can. :D

I remember when we had a flood, dodgy pipes, I came down the next day to find everything that wasn't bolted down floating around the living room in about 2 feet of water, it was a nightmare.
Did get me a day off school though.
Get onto the insurance company ASAP, and don't take no for an answer. :D

I will say this, I don't beleive there's another forum which comes remotely close to the sense of community and caring expressed here at Xtreme! The founder's ought to be proud, I bet they never thought it turn out to such a great group of people!
Yep the drains in the street got blocked and so they overflowed and caused a big flood in the area infront of our house. We live opposite a street entrance and that street goes up a hill. We also copped all the rushing water straight down this steeet so thats why so water was reaching our house.
Im hoping that speakers are the only thing that needs to be replaced. Dad has said to go and buy what we need and then write a list and he will claim it :)
I guess we could have been worse and I feel for the people who copped it worse. But when put in context, we could have been a lot worse off

12:15pm on Thursday and it just started to rain again heavilly. No rain since 2 nights ago when this happened. But yep, its coming pretty hard now - Im off to get some sandbags :D

I'se seen lots of water around here too, the whole basement in 1.5 feet of water or so...
and now the ceiling starts to come down (though that's not really weather related)

I dont mind cos I got a new 3dmark tonight and also on top of that, the house is sorta cleaned up now. We have been working frantically for the past 48 hours with only about 10 hours sleep and im now on my pc back in the study :toast:
