3/8's. The swiftec rad comes with 3/8's that cannot be removed so that dictated my choice in tubing and fitting size.

Hey The Nemesis did you find using the Swiftech MCW-NBMAX really help the temps??? I am wondering if something else out could do better?
60s if you dont overclock. i was getting 70 + on a well vented case(0ced.) im using a xigamax, it fits over the stock system however it prevents you from using the adjacent pci-e slot. same conditions i was getting 52c instead of 72c And there was a noticeable stability advantage when above 180 bclock when keeping the nb below 70c
Can someone tell me what version of Kaspersky Antivirus is included in this package? Full version or only trial?
60's are my extreme overclock temps. My current 24/7 settings after recent refit are 4GHz 21x191 all volts auto except vcore 1.35v qpi vtt 1.275v and vdimm 1.65 and NB idles at 47'C.
Just installed for you its a full commerical license with one year support after install. Way to go Asus:up:

Cool. So, basically the license key is already integrated inside? I'd like to install Kaspersky AV 2009 that was just released, but i'd need the licence from it. I guess i'll have to install this one first and upgrade so the license key will remain on my HDD.
But it should as far as i know. I guess i'll have to ask guys at Kaspersky.
What if you uninstall KAV7 and at uninstallation mark to keep the license file. Then installing KAV2010?
Do you have any idea if Thermalright AXP-140 would fit on this board inside Thermaltake VF6000BNS case? The case is very compact and nice but i've hit on an awful block. And that is the heat generated by i7 920 and the space available. The stock cooler is clearly not up to the task of cooling this quad, while i can hardly place anything else on it. Only two that should fit are Thermalright AXP-140 and Scythe Big Shuriken. But i'm afraid i'll have problems placing them in there. Also i don't like the design of Shuriken where only top half of the heatpipe has the contact with cooling fins. Total height is only 10cm. Anything more and it'll touch the PSU. For non tower designs, there has to be extra space for intake air above the fan.
Scythe Big Shuriken is cheaper, has the low profile integrated and supports LGA1366 out of the box. But those half covered heatpipes...
TR AXP-140 on the other hand hasthe heatpipes with full contact but is much more expensive, doesn't have the fan and doesn't support LGA1366 out of the box. Any other similar cooler? If you know any, bring it on. Any suggestion is a good one. :)
Man what is up with the pricing on this board my god... One minute it is $229.00 now its at $249.99 eeeeeek... And with the new Los Angeles TAX increase @ 10% really sucks..
Im not sure where could be problem, i though its been do to PSU i previously got, but still even now it happens, when i turn on computer, screen just stay black, but if i press reset, then it load correctly, any bench tests are perfectly stable, next day it starts normally and then another no, its random, any tips where could be the problem?
(Happens even when cpu is just set to 3.6Ghz)
Shrimps review is up : Gene II, Extreme II on a diet ?
Whats up with this thing. Finally got the Scythe Big Shuriken, installed it and bam at system boot i'm constantly getting CPU Fan error and no FAN RPM info in BIOS.
Intel BOX cooler worked just fine but shuriken doesn't work right. It's spinning just fine and cooling the CPU. But i get no RPM readings.
Now i'm confused. Is it the MOBO or fan on Big Shuriken that's not working right? Anyone else with similar problem on this board, possibly with same cooler?
EDIT:
Lol, it started reading the RPM by itself. Have no clue why it didn't detect them before.
