The sedond pic had me in stitches! Pro watercooler indeed.
i have to see if i still have pics of my phasechange units, i started with just cpu then bought a 2nd one for the gpu when benching. I may still have some pics of it somewhere.
here are a couple, first with water on cpu & pelt on gpu, then with phase on cpu and pelt/chilledwater on gpu, then phase on both cpu and gpu - that pic is when i was the 3rd person to reach 30k in 3dmark 01 LOL
some of you will remember this name, my r404 chillers were custom built by "HEREFISHY" :)
idd, the first phase of learning is when you're not watercooling yet, when you're doing it, you learn much more easier, and I've learned already a lot of my 4 month's during watercooling (and hopefully much more longer :yepp:)
and here@XS I see beautifull things every day and it's easy to learn from beautifull things :)
LOL, yes there are lots of weird people but there are also tons of really cool rigs. I think you would be in geek heaven. Are you near any of these events? I worked with Intel to get CPU Mag to do their mod contests there so you would have a GREAT chance at getting on the cover and also getting the lewt. I am on the CPU Mag judging panel at PDXLAN 13 (in a few weeks) and also might be a judge at the next Intel LAN party in the Portland, Oregon area. You can bet I give extra love to TIGHT water-cooling setups as I think they really are aesthetically pleasing besides being functional.
You should go to at least one event just to check it out.
Well I've got some years on WCing. Not sure where exactly one becomes "pro" though.
I was a Noob here(eep! 500Gph and 3/4" tubing!) Pioneer though.:

just messing with ya.
n00bs don't check waterblock bases to see if they are flat or bowed.
I picked mine up from a local hobby shop. I didn't think 9.77 including tax was that horribly bad for 12 of them. Why Fesser uses such an odd size is beyond me. I could have picked them up for less than a buck at the hardware store if they were M4 :shakes:

Well, does pro status come with time? I've officially hit 10 years of PC water cooling experience! :-D I've water cooled anything from Cyrix MIIs to a 4870 X2!
