Decided to test my Q9550 on a A3 rev board, just threw in some voltages, here it is...
1.32V NB, 1.25V VTT, 8GB RAMs
This is on a replacement board DFI P45-T2RS PLUS I got as a loan because my DFI JR P45 died :P
les_paulde In spite of your helps mobo and cpu failed at 500 fsb. there is something else limiting me I think.Thank you for your help. my max daily fsb 483 FSB x8.5 memory @ 1160 mhz. after 3.5 hours of prime I stopped it. It ended without errors and warnings

What mobo would you choose for a Q9550 E0? I have seen some really good results with the Giga P45-UD3R/P series. Anything else?
I couldn't really give you an answer on this one, it really depends on how much the retailer moves his stock and whether he always moves out the old boxes first. But I've bought this board on 2 other occasions new to help friends out with their rigs and it was both A3.
They sell to me one q9550 batch l828a844 it(he) is good? Is it(he,she) E0 or c1? THAT vid will have

I'm assuming you haven't heard about the intel spec finder then?
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=intel+spec+finder
That site will tell you everything you need! :yepp:
@sabe : occt stable too ? because I just discover my settings stable with linx but occt crash after 3-5 mins ... so I re-set to stable on both ...
My Q9550 E0 L828B096 :
436*8.5
vcore: 1.296v
GTL 0.630x
0.680x
PLL: 1.52v
VTT: 1.22v
vNB: 1.16v (0.660x)
-> Rock@Solid
For 450*8.5
vcore: 1.35v
Same GTL
PLL: 1.56v
VTT: 1.38v
vNB: 1.38v (0.660x)
-> Not Stable
It's Normal ???
Helllp !
What are you guys using to post your SS's? Cannot seem to get anything to work now.
Was able to get my q9550 EO LinX and Prime Blend stable @500x8.5, 333strap 5:6 1200mhz. CPU vcore 1.35v bios, 1.312v cpuz, 1.30v VTT and 1.360v MCH. I Can thank my EP45 UD3P board for it, is a great board for overclocking core2quads.
www.imageshack.us has always worked well for me.
Paint.NET is a good freeware painting program for cropping and chopping.
RealTemp makes it easy to find your processor's specs.
Click on the About... menu item and then click on the Intel Spec Finder button at the bottom.

Nice going with the 500 fsb spinejam! What was your PL set to?
Try 471 of FSB, I have tried:

Do not pass the 2 / 5 IBT test.
What can be?
The memories are stable.
I dont know what is good for a Q9550 E0, but mine is 1.19v VID and runs 425*8.5 @ 1.21v VID or otherwise 1.21v Vcore. I haven't bothered going any higher on my current DFI board with this chip. But it happily runs 3.6ghz @ 1.20-1.21V with EIST/C1 enabled.
