Thanks o much for the details and review and benchies...this might surplant my ST...

It will be interesting to see how this board compares to the upcoming board from the highly regarding DFI, when it comes to overclocking. I will be waiting eagerly for more reviews on this and the dfi x48-t3r.

$360?! lower than I was expecting, 4 sure.

It's about $370 with cheapest shipping. Zip Zoom Fly has had a not in stock listing at $399 for what seems like weeks now.

I am mulling over whether I should pitch my 790i to the fishes and get this instead. The new DDR3 DFI looks good, the P5E3 WS Evolution looks good, what am I supposed to do?

Im really stuggling trying to run a dual core at any decent FSB :(
No matter what ive tried, i cant get past about 490fsb to even load windows!

this board isnt easy.. im having the same sort of problems with my blackOps board its really picky on the voltage settings .. :D:D:D

does the board have GTL ref volt options ? probably need to play with them

As eva said try adjusting the GTL options to +2 same for the NB.

im so tempted by the blackops...

hey guys what is the best bios for dual core cpus... im fitting the fsb wall at 565fsb with my blackops.. this chip can do atleast 593fsb with my dfi p35 ut t2r board ?

This motherboard looks sweet, i've been looking for a new one to buy and I think this will probably be the one.

does it support DDR3 1600 in all 4 slots?

Between this and Dreadnought, there should be a good selection to choose from this summer

Ive got a question about the soundcard that comes with this motherboard,is it on par with the Auzentech X-Fi Prelude 7.1 Sound Card ?
If it is then i can sell my card on as i use my pc for gaming most of the time i need a good soundcard.

Register at the QuantumForce.net and you'll have access to the latest BETA BIOS. The latest one is G21, which seems to be pretty much similer to the official P02.. :rolleyes:
