I've looked through a lot of post here and other forums, and it seems that this board is a prettier, beefier version of the bloodiron. Thank you DFI because the BI is sooo very ugly and not that functional other than being a fairly decent OC'er.

Hi. Just got this board, and i have some massive Vdrop with Q6600@3600Mhz 1.376v Idle » 1.328v Load

^^^ have you looked on dfi web site they said they have a bios for quad cores.. could help?
Well, looks like 470Mhz FSB is too easy with Q6600.

FYI guys, I bought this mobo and I verify that e8400 works works out of the box with the DK P35 :D
Retrolock What FP0 has the CPU. At 4GHz stable what Vcore you must set in BIOS?
Smokin_Joe No problem. LP or DK I think they'll recognise E8400, but it's advisable a BIOS update as soon as possible. Problems could come with E8500, 'cose of its half multiplier 9,5.
@Vivio, I haven't tested it because I've been to busy copying some dvd home made movies lol. (not pron :P ) Maybe in a few hours when it gets colder (its afternoon here and it is hot! )
i tell ya i got this board last week and for $139 i am crapping myself.
what a freakin sweet board!!
525mhz FSB w/ E8400 voltage increase on chipset and VTT is about in the middle.
solid as a rock.
great cpu overclocking
great ram overclocking
i have been a buyer and lover of the midrange baords for a long time and i gotta say that this board is the best yet.
i just need a quad to try on it.
Lestat For daily use how much Vcore are we talking about?
depends on what mhz i run
my 8400 isnt nearly as good as what i have seen others run, plus i am still unsure of how the cpu VTT CPU PLL and clockgen voltages need to be address in relation to the vcore.
right now its 1.45v @ 4.2ghz
my vdroop is only 0.02v
so i set the bio to 1.47 (or as close as i can) so vcore is 1.45v under load.
i am using a Gemini II cooler so not the greatest but a decent cooler.
Q6600 480Mhz FSB

More great results i see. I just bought myself a TRUE and i read someone's post in here about having to mount it horizontally on this board. Does that mean with the fan pointing up or down? I was really wanting to mount this thing sideways so the fan can blow towards my rear exhaust fans.
@smokin joe, I think you can mount the TRUE120 vertically. My Ultima 90 which is much smaller than the TRUE, mounts sideways to blow towards the exhaust fans.
475*8, 1.376 - 1.392V with my Quad :D

This mobo runs 3870x2 card pretty well.
Clocked at 904/1000, the card is able to hit a score of 16.7K on the E6750@3.6 on DK P35, pretty decent for a obsoleted dualcore.

Vista x64 scores a few hundred points lower for the same rig,

CPU Vid special Add : +237,5mV
Bios reads 1.40V
CPU-Z reads 1.360V at idle, fluctuates between 1.376-1.392V under load.
NB and Mosfets get really hot, measured 75°C with a tempsensor on the heatsinks.
My bios settings :

What does CPU VTT do?
1.75 vpll ? that's high
edit : the vdroop average on this board
Standard is 1.55V up to 1.95V (if I remember correctly).
It helped me a little bit in getting my quad running stable at that speed.
Had to play and adjust several settings, which makes it nice.
Good board for it's price.
This is for you then.
Decided to push FSB next, this DK P35 mobo really rocks when it comes to that cos
1. appears to have no strap change even up to 515FSB (needs NB/SB 1.45/1.75v) with very good memtest86 RAM bandwidth reported
2. EIST still works when o'cing with manual multiplier control, this wasn't possible with the last P35 mobo I tested viz. Neo2-FR.
NB: Just started loading with Prime95 to bring the load multiplier, let's see how this pans out later. :)

I just purchased a DK P35-T2RS and an E8400 plus Transcend 1200+ 2GB ram. I'm getting the cpu from Mwave later today and I'm gonna overclock it. I think the board can do 1200+ stably with the ram. Hopefully everything goes as intended, I don't want to RMA anything (DOA!). My first Intel CPU since the Pentium 166Mhz. :)
