You should run 094 and 095 at the same time. See if they are different since you seem 100% sure they are. Maybe other people have the opposite results from which one is correct. :shrug: Last time I did this they were exactly the same, of course the 'reality check' always applies - idle temps can't be below ambient with air or standard water for example.

*edit* Didn't mean the above to sound harsh. I've just tried out Coretemp 094 and 095 with my L2 stepping (:() e4400. Running them at the same time 095 does read 15C higher but also shows TJunction at 15C higher. Don't know which to believe but as long as the temp to tjunction allowance is correct it doesn't matter. The CPU is a poor oc'er anyway :p so I don't really care.

Havent seen any fsb wall yet, even booting @ 430x9, only thing stopping cpu is heat atm. Better cooler in order.

Coretemp 0.94 gives me 6°C idle :rofl: .
Coretemp 0.95 gives me 23°c idle...

My room i currently @21°C, and my water of my WC rig is 22°C.
What do you think is right ?

Well , let me say, if you are on 65°c with 0.94 it's actually 80°C ;).

Why yoy think its called 0.95 anyway ? Becuase its a new update, and updates give sollutions to earlier bugs...

Just want to say, i've been ALWAYS under ambient temp with 0.94, and i'm not a holy man to break the law of physics :p: .

Screaming results for a dirt cheap chip. I just stumbled across this since I sold my Biostar Tforce P965 and E6300 that was good for 3.4. I was able to buy a sealed EVGA 680i SLI A1 board and for now I got a retail 2140 till Q6600 drops a bit more

My batch code is Q724A014 I am jus wondering what success is with this batch should anyone else have. Pack date is 7/12/07 and its a SLAYJ3

Just waiting on a few other pieces then build the box and see what this chip can do, I will be more than happy with a 100% overclock

A bit more Stock Heatsink action. Ambients around 13c. Getting a little toasty so didnt let her run to long.

Delta is massive from idle/load. She idle's around 20c, then jumps straight to 65c under load & slowly increases. Better cooler should reduce the massive delta on air.

That's an M0 chip. So far, M0 chip seems to be better o/cer than L2. Any oc result from you?

I don't see a 2140 with a 9 multi, only 2160s...please reference a post # for a 2140 with a 9 multi.

What impact does the lack of cache have in non-benchmarking activities? would you know what speeds these chips need to reach in order to compete with the 4mb cache chips?

What Vcore? Is that a M0 or L2? It doesn't say it with that version of CPU-Z, try a newer one.
