Im currently using my Rampage Extreme with the P4 631 and I cant even get it to oc 1mhz with out failing........
It might be back to the P5K Premium P35 chipset if this keeps up.....
Has any one tried to OC a 65nm cedarmill on an ASUS X48 Rampage Extreme?
Make sure you make a OVP mod if you want to push the maximum out of your Cedar Mill. 2V+ Vcore & full pot of liquid nitrogen is mandatory!
I haven't had any luck on anything other than p965, including Foxconn Mars and X48T-DQ6. Commando did great though, got me to 7.5ghz. I know there's more in it, I'll try again when I get some free time and lots of LN2 :)Quote:
