Can I join with E6400 and two speeds? I have incredable stepping, very low voltages..
3800 at 24/ is quite possible for me , as my chip is capable to run at that speed at 1,5 V Core, which is acceptable.Quote:

Yapp - agreed, here is a screen from my last session with the L629B @4GHz. It´s something over 5h Dual-Prime stable, then i had to stop because i needed the testbed for some 3060`s :toast: :Quote:

It shows that 4GHz with simple water is possible, with some tweaks it should be no problem to get it 24/7 stable - if you do not care about the temps around the borderline ... lapping could help to get the temps down a bit too and - as last resort - chilled water could do the trick also, but i`m happy with the 3.9GHz i´m running the cpu now 24/7  and now let´s have a closer look at some 3060´s :toast:

Way to go, Pete !

I've got my E6600 up to 3.6GHz (400x9) on the P5N32-E SLI now.. But my cpu is running SOOO hot! BTW i'm on air cooling in a fairly hot room..
Still on OCZ DDR2-533 Value Ram.. =)
Probe is showing 63-64C IDLE.. i don't dare touch any full loads like Orthos..
It's not safe right?

As long as you're loading under 80 it's ok. I've had my D820 @ 75C for ages on the boxed cooler. Tried lapping the CPU already? :)Quote:

I'm waiting for ASUS to get their act together..and release a proper bios for the P5N32-E SLI... atm if i set anything at like below 1.4V Vcore.. it'll default to 1.39V in Probe... so.. it's kinda locked Vcores.. =S
I hope they can release a fixed bios..so i can adjust the vcore step by step..=)
Until then...ahh....
Orthos blend priority 1 is no stability test....
Try custom (small ffts in place) and prio 9! You'll see the difference...

Dual prime @ 3900 with a 6400 on water is remarkable. Could be used as a standard itself. This was on the front page though and not that I'm trying to take away but it needs to be clarified maybe. "The Screenshot must have orthos running.. Idle or crashed results will not be included from now on." Is that for orthos only? I will try, won't do dual (my ver. has an instance for both cores)or more than 8hrs though. I want to use my board. Congrats on your run.

e6400(I will post the stepping later, I wrote it down I just don't know where) @ 1.45v
G.Skill DDR2 1000 4-4-4-12, 2x1 GB
Gigabyte DS3, F5 BIOS from late september
Windows XP SP2 pro
Check the other pics in that directoryfor the cooling and the rest of the computer. The details are, rebranded laing d5 pump @ 8.35v, swiftech mcr320 radiator, aquaextreme mp05 waterblock, swiftech mcw30 northbridge block, a mix of thermaltake/zalman vga ramsinks on the mosfets next to the CPU and the stock e6400 heatsink's fan over it. All fans attached to a sunbeam fan controller(including the pump).
3.8 is a bit trickier, I'll have to try more later, but the voltage increase is definately not worth it.
LOL I got relegated to the E6600's... mines a 3060 though! ='(
