What position should i have the CLEAR CMOS JUMPER and BUTTON in? I've gone back and forth on that that -
I pulled the water block off and kept a finger on the CPU while i booted the comuter. It took it probably close to a full 50 seconds before the CPU even began to felt warm.
Yes - CPU INIT is stuck on the back LCD screen. I even pulled every card, the IDE connector, the memory, AND the CPU - and still CPU INIT on the LCD.
Unless someone else can recommend another 680i board, I'll just hot swap this board - buy another and sell the RMA board when it comes back. It HAS to be a 680i - becuase i already have two 8800GTX cards - and I want to run SLI. And, going to an AMD chip is ABSOLUTLY out of the question.
