I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but I searched and came up with nothing.
How do the legalities of this work? Can you really toy with/alter MS code? I would think in one of their EULA's they would have a clause about that?

XSOS v3.0 is scheduled to fully support DX10, 64Processing cores, and most of your DX applications.
I think they let him do it and help him cuz he seems to be able to build a more efficient OS than they ever could and when time is right they're gonna send him to the aliens and pretend nothing happened. :D *sarcasm*
