bios 305 is the latests, I flashed it to fix problems with 304, but I may back go to 303.
yeah I plugged in the 4 pin molex and everthing else. Not sure why since it seems not to make a difference.
Ask 0301 Bios Links. :D
Installed my board today still on stock, tryed bios 304. but then my temp raise 20. It`s no problem to downgrade in windows with asus update only go on options in the program and mark for bios downgrade.I done that and loded 303 so my temp went back to 32.
I have one 6600 629B and tuniq Tower 120,but I only have 2 512 memory bricks so are 2 years old: corsair twin2x 5400pro so I dont now how high I can oc it .But Iwill try
Here's my replacement P5W64, must say this is one fast mobo.
In bios, vcore 1.46, vdimm 2.2, vmch 1.6, rest set to auto.

Hi I want to ask whether changing the pci-e mhz from 100-105 or something else will help in getting better overclock on my 6600?
I have a p5w64 arriving hopefully this week ... the 303 bios link seems dead.
Does anybody else have it?
Thanks
Pete
/edit just tried the link and got the 303 bios ... Thanks :)

i installed sound card drivers and now my bootup time has
went upto about 14 bars lol
this is the excact same problem with the Asus P5B Deluxe

Anyways looking to purchase PCI sound in the very near future. I know Creative drivers in the past used alot of cpu usuage so if anyone can recommend a nice sounding pci card I'm all ears.
so can this issue be fixed ? are there any new sound card drivers
if not i will have to send this back, i cant stand slow mobos:mad:
my asus a8n csm micro atx with onboard graphics
boots up in 3 bars max.
Today I get my E6600 to boot in windows on 445x9 4005. 12,875 in 1MB super pi:) .50C in idle .

any links for the new 0305 bios?
0304 is not working out for me.....
I have gotten 465x9 under phase @ 1.58v in bios
mch @ 1.8v
with the board unmodded
It is not stable at much over 430-440fsb.
I have a feeling that the bios might fix it.

any new bios?
Please see here
bios 306
401
402

so far 0306 seems the most stable. someone with more experience with this board should try it for high fsb.
btw, is there a compilation of best settings for p5w64 somewhere around here?
Hi guys,
somebody knows if with new bioses there is some good news about cold reboot and memory management?
Tanks
updated from 303 to 401 here. Seems the latter plays better with my Xeon 3060 as I was unable to reach this speed before no matter the voltage. Though I will say I'm still having a multi issue. I've tried 2 e6600 and now a Xeon 3060 and when I lower to 8x board refuses to post anything over 435 but as you can see clearly the Xeon can handle over 450fsb.

Parrello, no new options for memory. i don't think they fixed cold boot either.
0402 seems really finicky as far as fsb concerned, couldn't get anywhere with it.
Racer, have you tried 0306?
Where can I get the 401?
Check the link out on post #166 of this thread.Quote:

I'm pretty sure this is the mobo I'm going to get.
is there any different revisions of this board? or have then been all the same? im trying to find the best deal on it but dont want to get an older verision like u can with the p5wdh boards.. thanks!
As far as I know there are no major version changes. All boards support Vmch of 1.8v.Quote:
