Well mine is week 28 (0628), 68M0AG, but it has 801 bios...and my CPU won't be shipping until the 14th... so can't test... :slapass:
Still sounds like good news though, hopefully all 0628 will have 1.85v...

I think you need to disable some option in the BIOS.Quote:

My daily visits to my local Fry's paid off. Sent the salesman went to the back again and they had a whole pallet of 068 board's. Cost me $324 but I'll just sell my current one:D
@ The Nemesis: Mmm..impulsive like me :)
Let us know how that one perform, what's the codes on the box, and date-code on motherboard?
Even though I've got a 68 series on order from TG's, I couldn't resist visiting my local Fry's in Palo Alto, CA. Low and behold they had about 20 or so mobos. A couple of the ones on the lower shelves were 67 series, but the rest were 68 series GOAAY's. I ended up picking up one, opened it up in the parking lot and found bios 801; manuf code 0628. Hopefully, it'll be a keeper.
Good going, let us know how the board is doing :) so it seems 0628 is the earliest with new 1.85mch bios.
Should help someone out there....
My board has the 801 bios stamped on it & 0628 date code as well. And just to give you guys a tease the old board was definitely holding back my week 28. This is on air so I'm not going to go much further.
Ouch! That is great on air.....
Dammit, send me your address so I can come "borrow" that chip :)
What's real and Bios voltages?
Board has 1101 bios installed, even though the chip said 801. 1.65v set in bios read 1.61 on asus probe. Gonna try and see if the week 27 will boot higher tomorrow.Quote:

Will tell us if you undervolt/overvolt, and how accurate bios reads sensors...
Thanx for the feedback
E6600 week 28???
Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see your temps? I can probably go that high on my week 27, but I don't dare try voltages that high with my air cooling setup.Quote:

Installing the watercooling today as I watch football but I don't expect it to be more stable or do much more than get into windows @ 4 ghz.Quote:

yea that's what i boot at now 435 and 1:1 :)
I manage to get 4ghz SP1 ~12.6 sec but about to take a shot damn thing froze up! lol..
Hi, can someone host the 1401 bios??
I am having issues trying to download from the link provided in these forums...
Any help in getting the P5W DH 1401 bios would be really appreciated...
Spoke to Scan today, they have the old revision... although I'm not entirely sure whether the sales/tech guy thought I meant that the board had the older BIOS chip which you had to send off, or was actually the new board. There have been 66M0AG and 67M0AG boards with Conroe capable BIOS so it's still a bit of a crapshoot.Quote:

The board does 400 fsb easy so far all at stock except for vcore.
67M0AG w/bios 0701 - Confirmes NOT to have 1.85 option in bios.
68M0AG w/bios 1101 - Confirmed to HAVE 1.85 option in bios.
The last mobo easily reached +400 FSB - everything at stock.
The first mobo didn't reach 360 (everything at stock).:nono:
Hunted for 'hotspots' on the mobo yesterday - Southbridge and the little
'EZ-backup'-chip (in the far southeast corner) seems to be areas that genrerates high temperatures.

I just got off the phone with ASUS they say this board DOES not have any new revisions yet. How are you guys getting 1.85 for your MCH ... im getting so frustrated.
It info you seek is in this thread, pay special attention to post #115 as it may be a place to get this board with 1.85 mch.Quote:
