Thanks for the help, the bios flashed but CPUZ still shows version 6.00PG. Why? :(
did you check all the options on the left ?
Everything expect the clear CMOS and CMOS default. My bios also has max FSB of 265, I hope this is because of my crappy bios version?Quote:

i would say thats 711 no? not sure why cpu-z is acting up, thats interesting, 4n70n if ur still around here can you check what your cpu-z says since you have it updated alrdy as well
that's mean it has been flashed with the new version.Quote:

To be honest I really have no idea what bios I started with becuase CPUZ called my first bios 6.00PG, when I flashed it to the new one it still calls it 6.0PG even though it isn't. I didn't check system information in the bios before flashing either, so I probably won't ever know. Anyway my max FSB is still 265 :(. What do you guys see for max FSB? BTW I am using an ES Pentium D 950.
im pretty sure it was 7.0 for him ya, he originally said his was "6" but from what I read he said up top, he mentions "my bios is "still" 6.00PG" so I think he was checking it thru Cpu-Z originally while it was always reading it wrong.
Edit: Ya I thought so Cupholder lol, i knew it was weird evryones was 7 and urs was the only one with 6... but umm yea maybe its that cpu thats locking it at 265 but really cant be sure, altho I know 4n70n overclocked his alrdy up to 400fsb I think with that bios so shouldnt be a problem
I suggest to use the final version on MSI site version 7.0 and reflash the bios with it.Quote:

altho i doubt its the actual bios itself even tho its not "officialy" supported yet on the msi site, I really think its the way you flashed it, if you did any kind of overclocking on that chip and did not do "load optimized default settings" before you flashed that can mess things up easy
I don't think it was set to "Load Optimized Defaults". So I will try this agian tommorow. Since I just installed a fresh windows install and I also reset my CMOS, windows said my 30 day validation period is over and I must activate, but I am too lazy so I will do it tommorow...lol. Anyway I must also fix my heat problems, as I write this (on my second system) my main system is idling in bios at 57 on stock settings :(.

Yes, in the CPU-Z bios ver is 6.00PG...but i am sure that i already flash the bios.
