Hehe, that is Runmc, PC ICE, and Chilly1 :D Btw guys, yesterday was sort of just setup and preliminary testing, ppl still arriving etc. Today they bust out the LN2 and have some more fun :cool: No one had cascade on the 512mb X850's yesterday, just on CPU's. And yes, OPP and FUGGER were having a little trouble with the ATi boards, but Macci was doing a little better I think. Also, Macci made it through customs with his LN2 unit..... today will be fun :toast:
This event is so cool. I don't even care about my computer or playin games, just watching Charles trying to SPi at 3.6ghz with -118c loaded temps is :slobber: He and Chilly1 tweaked the gas in his 3-stage, and it seems like he was having temp DROP under load :eek: :D Ain't that nuts.....

So far I have met in person OPP, PC ICE, FUGGER, Chilly1, Macci, Runmc, K|ngp|n -- this is too cool! :banana: Let me tell ya, they are just cool everyday guys. Especially PC ICE (and I think OPP too), who stood up for me when the ATi rep wasn't too pleased about me hanging around behind the yellow caution tape without at VIP badge ;)

Holy crap none of them look ANYTHING close to what I thought they did. What about FUGGER and Macci? And whos rig is that with the cascade on the CPU and the stock X850? What boards are they using?

Actually, that's a great pic of him, in his element, not posing. :) The teampuss pic is OPPAINTER. He used to have a pic of himself in a tux, as his avatar. ;) BTW, I haven't been around the forums here in awhile, hi folks! :)

Jvlk, My The board was running good, I was pushing for 4Ghz and and was in windows at 3.754Ghz trying to pull a superpi. Dont quote us and say things that are not true. Opp may have been getting fustrated but me and Macci were doing good. We my not be able to beat everything on the planet at this moment. We have had only a few hours on the new systems and we have a few boards lined up untested. Today things may change and Opp will rip us a new one with GPU clock (Hello, 2005)

Well..I only had a quick chat with runmc for a few minutes, so summed some things up.

I think quite a few companies make items similar. I think thats fugger's rig i seem to remember seeing quite a few pictures of it. It works quite a bit like the onboard diagnostic led's found on epox and other manufacturers boards. Its quite a nifty tool.

man i am exhausted. finally get to sit down in the LAN area and chill and play some games after hours of standing. it was really fun though.. gettin to meet everyone. towards the end, all of us XS'ers just kinda sat in the back and chilled. we were watching pc ice, he was tryin to hit 3.5ghz on his newcastle. he got VERY close. hes gettin some new toys, and told me to watch for 4ghz soon :)

You know PC-ICE if he had dark brown hair would look almost exactly like my slightly older brother, kinda weird, lol. Although my bro isn't into overclocking, so the similarities end there. The rest of the guys look like they could all be my dad, lol! I suppose you have to be older with a good job to really afford the big costs of extreme overclocking.

wow great pics, btw, ive been kickin around th eidea of vapor cooling for a lon time now and after seeing these pics, i cant help but think the prometia mach 2 is lame. my off topic question is, does anyone have any idea how much a unit from Chilly1 might cost? If i remember correctly he lives in vegas, id even go pick it up when i go to visit a cousin who lives there and went to UNLV.
