I'll have a new build out tomorrow.
MS released new versions of their C Runtime Library which are different then what libcurl, zlib, and OpenSSL are linked against. I have to rebuild all those libraries and update the installer package to account for these latest Windows patches.

Disclaimer
On development versions of BOINC:
- Expect parts of it to be broken, or in the least to work in a different way than you are used to.
- Expect work failures, deadline misses and losing all your accumulated work in progress, or not getting credit for your work due to unknown and unforeseen circumstances.
- Only use it when you are willing to participate in the Alpha test program and do not mind sending (bug) reports in to the developers on the email list specially assigned for this purpose.
- Due to the OpenCL detection, your screen may flicker or turn off temporarily. This is normal.

Has anyone on this board been testing these betas?
I've stayed away only because IIRC 7.X is a complete re-write and I'm not really an "alpha testing" type.
good morning Snow im running the 7.0.6 it has been stable but i have noticed they abort projects a lot before i can get to them,
i always like running beta :)
I typically do run the betas and I thank you for letting me know that 7.X is good enough to run
Do you recall if there were any issues (cache and/ or project dumping) between 6.X and 7.X?
I just started crunching again i really got nothing to compare it with. but i got a new build coming in and i will give the 6x a try.,

I see the latest recommended version of 6.12.34 was back in Sept; I assume they are working on the 7.** version now to be the next standard.
What version do you recommend for Windows 7 64 bit?
I would use 6.12.34, it's the latest recommended version. Here is the link for 64 bit.
Thanks!
