Love it. I had a big decision to make when I bought my truck. I was eyeing the SRT10 and the SVT Lightning. I ended up finding a Black 2004 Lightning with 11,500 on the clock and jumped on it. :)

2008 Dodge Dakota Laramie 4x4. Almost fully loaded with the 4.7 V8. So far, it just has an aftermarket airfilter, an intake mod to trick the computer into thinking the incoming air is colder than it is, and a 3" cat-back exhaust. Next it's getting a tuner, and eventually maybe a lift and some bigger tires. This is my third Dakota, and fourth Dodge truck.

Nice V star man Im not a Yamaha guy, but I also am a street bike guy. I LOVE ME HONDA CBR
But nice ride and like the stang too and its even a Cobra.
Toy #2.
1976 Lincoln Mk IV Givenchy, just rolled over 40,000 miles (64000 km), 3rd owner.
Came with the factory 8-track (+ 2 boxes of 8-tracks) and CB
It rides like a dream.
Just bought a 91 Jeep Cherokee and an 89 Cherokee as a parts vehicle for it. Both have the 4.0L motor.
1971 Mustang Mach 1, restored. All original except two pieces of chrome (tires etc}.
Nice Lincoln, Hor$eman.... Pimp-mobile. I owned a '76 Eldorado... what a machine.:D
I love the ride. You could go over a set of rough train tracks with a full glass of champagne er, water on the dash and not spill a drop. It's like sitting in a lazy-boy on a mountain of mattresses on a mountain of pillows ;)
Thanks :)
Totally worth the extra gas. What surprises me is the +20 mpg the Linc gets, so long as you don't open the 4 bbl. The Stang, well, who cares! lol
Nice. What have you done to it so far? Because we all know there's no such thing as a "stock" Lightning anymore  My cousin has a white one.

I snapped my cross-pin in my rear axle a couple days ago and pulled the cover off yesterday. This is what I found. I was building a bigger axle anyways, just need to get it done sooner now.
The ford 7.5 wasn't designed to be run behind the torquey 4.0, especially with a locker and especially with my heavy foot abuse and large tires.

What awaited me when I opened the cover, that's a piece of crosspin laying in the housing.

Chunk of crosspin sticking out of it's hole.

Crosspin bolt without a scratch on it, and most people can't even remove them without breaking them!

OMG you're using the 7.5:yepp::shocked:
One of my buddies had an Econoline Van for his band and it had that engine in it.Those things are friggin huge and are one of Ford's biggest non-commercial blocks:up: They also come in a Diesel flavor.
Everyone here has some pretty sweet rides:up:
Part of SIG-Volvo 1979 242 DL Beige
No no, the rear axle is a 7.5 (7.5" ring gear diameter). A 460 (7.5 liter) would have a hard time fitting in my engine bay. My rig has a 4.0 from a 94 explorer.
The diesel you're thinking of is the ford 7.3 IDI and powerstroke 7.3 neither of which share anything with the 460.
