heres my i7 950 under a vapochill 250watt version. only tried 1024 as the evaporator head temps went to high with anything over 1024. But it was BC2 stable for a 12 hour session.

You referring to me or Grinchy? If you're referring to Grinchy there's no need to drop back into derisive statements, and if you are referring to my post, you obviously haven't read the thread, or cannot understand my post. Either way, some things are best kept to yourself ;)
Sorry if my "Soap box" reference wasn't clear................And I wasn't being derisory.
Just thought that Grinchy wasn't for listening to the fact that this thread is for getting past 20 LinX with stability not having the most stable comp. Hence my referring to his "Soap box".
Sorry for any offence.:)
More thought needed next time (by me )
None taken, I just think Grinchy has been given enough of a tongue lashing and to me it seemed that there was a simple language based misunderstanding causing the whole thing to start and continue.
Well no, we are onto it when something isn't in line with what it should be. Whether or not Zalbard will still include the scores is his choice, personally I'd ask for a re-run.
Don't know why you're quoting me? I am certainly no expert and do not have any say in this thread. I just posted my 980X results like anybody else. The fact that my gflops were low was not through any "detuning" as I had no idea how to. My results were what they were. More Knowledgeable ppl were happy that I had got the best figures I could.
My SB results are a lot higher (different architecture, better MCH possibly) but I did not influence my results with any special knowledge (even of Photoshop). I just assembled my box with watercooling and tried various bios and ram alterations and configurations (including a good PSU) to get as high a score as I could.
All this was, and is, for fun and only for fun.
If you have any grievances perhaps you should direct them to "Zalbard".
Apologies to you Zalbard if I'm "name dropping".
Finally got my MIVE on Thursday and finished putting everything together this morning. Here is my first shot at 5Ghz with 1.43vcore BIOS, 100% LLC.

@mazaki01
Read the 1st post. You must have Linx runing the 21st run when you take the screenshot.
Your gflops are low as sh*t even for non AVX windows.
Thanks! Although I'm running HT off for now, I might need maybe 1.375 - 1.39 range to do HT on. For gaming HT off might actually be better option. With P6T6 I have to run 25 multi and higher BCLK or the multiplier will fluctuate.. Swapping for the R3E today, maybe I can run high multi and lower bclk..and maybe lower voltage as well, dunno. :)

Does AVX stress sandy cpus that much harder then not using AVX or just alot of people just not updating to enabled AVX?
Its taking around 1.38v .. This is the second 990x of same batch , the first did 1.36v.. but got fried with turbo V.
This CPU needs a little more juice, but seems much cooler...:

I am tying to get 5ghzs stable (>100 gflops) but no luck yet..
