Never thought Giga can produce quite good mobos...
Very nice chip
yea these gigabyteUD3's are great boards.
but like zsamz says, memory scores are about
average on the P45 front.the DFI P45's
memory bandwidth is much better.but hey
the way i look at it is these boards are right
in the middle of perfection.
PS-where did you find the cellshocks?
if you dont mind me asking.
Hey radaja, could you please post some settings, I'm mostly interested in CPU and MCH voltages ( ref, vtt... )
Would be very much appreciated! :)
Congrats! You have been looking for that kit as hard as me searching Crucial anniversary kits... maybe even harder.
just playing around with my corsair dominators pc2 8500 ver 1.2
Everest bandwidth numbers needed!
sure.here you go.i had a hard time going above 540fsb then i changed my mch ref from 0.750v w/vtt of 1.28 to 0.770v w/vtt 1.28 shows in ET6 as 0.720v.

There is one guy from my country, Russia, another city, which had had them for the last year :) Kit will have been shipped till the end of this week
My current kit does 1200mhz at only 2,02v, fully stable (Prime, WinMemtest 3.8). That guy sent me pics, his kit can do the same.
Today I take my Swiftech and EK wb`s for NB and Mosfet. Hope my MIIF will handle 4x1gb to make me happy
thats good that your new kit does 1200MHz at 2.02v too
that will make it easier to do 1200MHz with all dimms populated
and hopefully with 2.02v:)
I'd previously posted these results back in April before XS lost quite a few posts, Maximus Formula with Rampage BIOS and my G.Skill 2GBHZ 1000 C4 kit.
I just tested 1 stick of my CellShock PC2-8500 ram with D9GMH it got 1200MHz (600) 4-4-4-12 :D with 2.58v.

2.1V for Cas 5, 1200Mhz isn't bad at all. Especially with 4 dimms. 2.7V is insane, what do you use to cool the ram? Even though I don't overVolt my ram(much), earlier tonight I rigged an Antec SpotCool fan on Low speed.
Wow, 1200+ Mhz Cas 4 sure does eat Voltage. 2.58V for you and 2.7V for Elite22. :lol2:
Good work though. Plenty of skills mixed with some luck equals breaking (performance) barriers.
Thanks
Well done guys!
P.S. The results of playing with CellShock 4x1Gb PC9200 "Red Devil" are coming soon ;)
The last time I tested them, which admittedly has been a while, my Corsair DDR2-1250 kit could do 600MHz C4 with about 2.45V. It really just depends on the kit, but I'd say that confirms the sticks use GKX. I don't think GMH can do high C4 with low volts like that.
Yeah those PC10000 corsair sticks were regularly hitting 600 - 620 MHz CAS4, but despite that some still couldn't hit 650 - 660 MHz CAS5 bench stable.
good gmh can do this. :yepp:
my crucial pc8500 can do 1200 4-4-4-4 with 2.38
