I guess the idea is that the 5970 gets a pass since it's 2 gpu's on one card. Or somethin. :shrug:

I'm still as perplexed as you though as to what's laugh out loud funny here though. :rofl:

I'm gonna stick with it. My total with shipping was $522. Maybe not the greatest, but when it comes right down to it, a better deal would be, what, ~$30 cheaper? I'd like to feel secure that I have one with my name on it :)

Highly recommend them, they got me my HD5850 for $250 shipped shortly after release :)

Provantage is a good company, they will come through on the order if they show it "in-stock", they usually specify how many they do have in stock.

Edit: I just noticed it says "special order", for them that usually means they will order it from you, but it ships from the manufacturer or has a waiting time for it to come in stock...

Haha, too true... I can think of many times I have thought I SHOULD have gone for faster shipping, and only one where I vaguely regretted doing so (overnight for $20 more over ground, and even then I didn't really think it was bad per say).

EDIT: I feel like a tool doing so, but I'm emailing them asking them to disregard my last email and hoping for the best... :p: . I'd rather not have to camp out newegg tomorrow hoping I get an order in etc. etc. Guess I'll find out in the morning if it gets cancelled on me or not :(.
