damn. please find another solution for your hard drive mount
haha, I think your setup screams for a new case that better fits your needs. Why use the case's 'storage box' that takes up a drive bay rather than putting your hdd in there?
Just wanted to share the other side (the right) of the case with you too. Twisted PSU-Bracket makes it possible to place two SmartDrives on some very wobbly stuff to eliminate any vibrations. But still the seek noise of the Raptor150 is audible, I expected a better sound-performance than the Silentmaxx-HD-Silencer - but that is not really noticable.
Anyways ... to keep everything as clean as possible, some of the PSU-Cables were modified because mostly they were way too long or had a mixture of SATA and 4-pin Molex connectors on them (Enermax Liberty).

dualbrain, extremely clean! Nice job!
super clean!! nice
nice photo's also
Damn nice DualBrain, more pics!
Dualbrain: Did you sleeve all the cables on the 24-pin or did it come like that right out of the box? :)
He sleeved them all :)
Bloody hands and a beautiful result for that work :D
Wow. That must have taken a lot of your time. But it turned out bea-uti-fulllll. :D
DualBrain, are you opitical drives resting on funky orange sponges?
Final Decision: no UV cathodes, but more Leds :D

Hi guys :)
The sleeving is bloody hand-made as peebee said, it took me ~5 minutes per cable (it is a hassle with the little ATX, ATX12V and PCI-E pins). I had a quantity of photos a few pages before - I think on page 260.
These are harddrives on the orange sponges - with zero vibration transfered to the case. I have cut them to thin stripes after this photojob, to provide a better airflow through them, it just resulted in a 1°C advantage.
awesome bundy!!!
Can I use these fan screws with the ThermoChill PA.120.3? A little bit OT, but it's okay for now. Isn't it? :p:

This is my baby. First time water cooler. Newb to OC. But hey guys I am new. Please comment or give some advice for my next rig. I will be getting new fans on Friday Scythe ultra kaze 120x35mm 133cfm <- what do you guys think of those?
Specops
Sorry for the image size.
Please Resize Your Images
Bigger pictures please :dammit:
Resize the pics or a mod will yank it out...
man huge pics !!! resize them...
specops :
please resize your pics to a more normal format, like 1024*768.
You'd need a 46"LCD to see the pics full size.
They are resized sorry about that guys didn't even realize that they were that huge newb mistake. :frag:
No problem, can happen sometimes.
LOL, i second that...some tape holding down that hdd would be a huge improvement. Hows the performance of the supreme btw?

btw thats supreme should be turned :D
You have only one choice to read something: EK or Supreme, because it all turns away from the middle: ;) For Performance it is only important, that the tubing is right :D
see there: http://shackit.pl/display.php?iid=270&page=2
horizontal mounting is best performance!
Even my girlfriend noticed the unusual design! :p:
A good start into the day!
Just finished my build so thought i'd post it in here.

Nice casemod sir. :)
Love the waterdrop-effect on the sidepanel. :)
Steven G, that is nice !!
Added some UV led's and a window

Hi guys, first post here
This is my second attempt to watercool my cosmos. Before I had the radiator on the top but temps were horrible, so I moved it outside on the back
Alphacool reservoir > laing D5 > rad > EK wave > Ybris K7 > reservoir

Rbs.
:(
Yeah, poor dead P5K Deluxe
Really don't know why, perfectly isolated...but when benching at 1.65+ volts it made a little explosion sound, and dies. Tested all on another motherboard and it's ok, just that damn P5K
:(
EDIT: It was cold coz' we're benching with ICE to get lower temps :(
with ice??? like dry ice?
Are u sure a droplet of water didn't fall onto the mobo looks like it would of...
that sucks dude
seems like the isolation is not good at all your block man hasw water everyware and the tape around the socket is not good for isolation :( i'am sorry
this is expecter p5k delux has very bad (even not looking its 8 phase) power module (a lot of them dies with such troubles)Quote:
rbsmontemor
maybe the condensation started happening under the cpu isnt that why people use dielectric grease under cpu to avoid problems like this
Just ice...frozen water :) Think that's not the problem...we disassemble the system to clean the water 5 minutes before
Thats just cold water...not DI or so, backside of CPU doesn't get wet
But if it happens, it will kill the CPU too, or not? my CPU is happily alive :D
Rbs.
:(
If you heard a popping sound, it mean that a capacitor exploded. Look around the cpu area to see if you noticed a capacitor without the metal top. The P5K is known to do this sometime when you push the board a bit.
That sound really bad
Sorry dudes this is all i could come up with for now. It ainīt special like what i have been seeing in this thread but at least laugh it off;)
cka3o4nuk
Privet komrad! :D
someone needs a new monitor :D
LOL It looks just like you have a second set of fans on the other side of the rad.
I like your setup, its like I wanted to do mine initially, but decided to buy s TJ07 anyway.
What is that fan next to the cpu doing there? Cooling the ram?
If you didn't notice anything, it mean it's either a capacitor died but not show any damage or any other component died.
One thing i'd do is make sure the bios chip is in the motherboard completely.
I've heard that sometimes if your overclocking and you clock your cpu really high then the comp will just turn off and the mobo won't post. But then they find later that the bios chip came out, so they push on it until it clicks in. Then the mobo will post
Not sure if thats the problem, but it's worth a try :)
It's dead, a lot dead, all dead.
http://www.defesacivil.rs.gov.br/com...ro_privada.jpg
Ohh well, at least I'm waiting now for a DFI P35 to arrive :D
Will try RMA on P5K Deluxe. No vmod, nothing.
Rbs.
Is that the DFI P35-T2R or the Blood Iron?
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y10...zz016Small.jpg
I need to drain and do some stuff, but this is how it's sitting now(I mounted the hard drives in the top though)
dude, is ur HD just hanging there???

Only down point is the 4 pin connector, not much to do about it though :(
Dig!taL take that 5 euro from your desk and go take some tireup's for you cpu block :p

Looks neet and tidy on the wire management too.
Slightly outdated. Two more hard drives reside in the cage.

@ Dig!taL
You should turn your ress around. It would give you shorter tubing and a cleaner look.
Hmm everybody seemes to mount the ek ress upside down :p

;)
i like the silver, but i may just go with black filters next :)
Dig!taL, whoever did your radiator cut has some MAJOR skills! That is amazing.
Agreed. The radhole looks much nicer with the round curves. The guy who did the cutting is an expert casemodder.
Yeah I am planning on getting two MCR220's and seeing if they can fit inside the case with room for a second loop. I had read about a few other people using two MCR320's and still getting 60C load temps with the Q6600 @ 3.6, but I guess it is more dependent on the contact with the IHS? When I get the two MCR220's I am going to lap the CPU and see if it'll perform better.
2 120.3 on 1 cpu only at 3.6. if its a G0 your not even denting the cooling capacity of those rads and your just further restricting the flow. u have room for at least 2 loops there with the rads mounted in the same places.
Charles from Murderbox just emailed me a new pic he took of the Murderbox with a new motherboard (X38) and whole new SATA cable design... enjoy
i will also try to keep you guys posted on other new pics he sends me ;)
http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h3...1/DSC_1227.jpg
thanks Junkee, the murderbox is just the nicest wc rig ever made in my opinion.
that looks so neat!
is that a uv coolant?
With the Murder Box, why and how is there three tubes going to the GPU?How exactly is the loop laid out?
Thank you for your comment
The cutting was made by aquatuning.de
http://www.aquatuning.de/product_inf...s-Geh-use.html
ONE picture of the murder box? boy i feel like i got lucky with a chick but she stopped early...
cant remember exactly what they are called but it could be a tube going up to the top of the case with one of those tap mounted things on top of the case for filling the loop... because the last pictures of the murderbox showed us it doesnt have a res...
i could be wrong but that just what i think it could be... ill wait and see the new pics that charles is sending me and ill let you know
