Actually i am not sure if this CPU is a Manchester or a Toledo.
Cuase CPU-Z says Manchester, but Everest says Toledo.
Is there way to see WHAT the core is for real? Without taken the CPU out of the Rig again? ;)

Works @ 2700 1,5V rockstable for now. Thats a great result for me cause I "payed" an Opteron144@2,6ghz 1,45V ( maxed out :( ) + 2x512 BH6 Sticks

Also I am not that sure about the IHS. Before i do anything to this CPU i really NEED a good Picture i original size from a naked X2 ( Toledo/Manchester )

I have to ask a question about my X2 3800+.
The stepping is CDBHE 0533, does the CD indicate that it's a Toledo, or is it a Manchester ?

ADA3800DAA5CD is an E6 rev chip. The CD in this case means Toledo.
In the case of the CDBHE, I imagine the top line on the IHS says ADA3800DAA5BV, an E4 chip, or Manchester.

CDBHE is a Manchester. The CD portion, in this case, doesn't refer to whether it is a Toledo or Manchester. It could have just as easily been LDBHE. The BH, to me, indicates that it is a Manchester. I have two LDBHEs and a CDBHE, all Manchesters.

Let me correct that, the BH portion doesn't directly indicate that the chip is a Manchester; it is more indicative and seemingly related, in some way to the memory controller. However, all chips with BH in the third and fourth positions of the 5 letter code are Manchesters, as far as I know.

IMHO the Toledo with half the cache disabled, you have a much bigger die size so better for cooling :)

I picked up a 3800+ LDBHE 0601 TPMW

Haven't finished testing it but its running prime stable right now at 2.6 with 1.3 volts. (undervolted)

well you know who she is. Anyway she goes to school pretty close to me, and the only occassion i ever met her was 10am on a sunday morning, when she came to pick up her brother, and i was dragged downstairs to stare bleakly at her.

Anyway how's that CPU of yours clocking?

My old CCBWE would reach 2.7ghz with stock volts, but then after that, it meet a massive voltage wall, and needed something like 1.55v for 2.8ghz.

Ahh, well just installed watercooling, a swiftech storm.
Anyway, she does about 2500mhz stock volts, then I can get her to 2,7ghz with 1,55v haven't installed any fans on the radiator but I think 2,8ghz is reachable.

I received my 3800 today. I was hoping for an LDBHE 0601 _PMW. which was the stepping everyone else had been getting from this supplier. However I got a LDBHE 0605DPMW.

Does anyone else have one of these or know how they perform? I cannot find any results for this stepping anywhere.

Sweet! My E6 3800 died a couple of nights ago, so I ordered an E4 yesterday. Got an LDBFE 0607UPMW with a #0170 serial this afternoon, hope it's nice. :)

Oh, and it's consistently 0C - 5C here at the moment, we have another week of it yet. Good OC weather.

Edit: dual prime 2500 @ 1.33v @ 38C (MBM), started a couple of minutes ago. Looking verry nice at the moment. Also, this is a Version 4.2 E4 as mentioned recently.

I seriously think : the higher A64MCT overclock better (This is what I experienced with my last 12 AMD X2/DC Opty)

They are just getting better and better, and 2.7GHz with only 1.28Vcore is just :eek: :eek: :clap: :toast:

That would make an awesome HTPC with such low Vcore

OMFG, this is so true. The LDBFE 0607 I got yesterday afternoon is also totally sick. Not had any time to do much with it, but with everything on auto except HTT, a 180 mem divider and a little bit of extra volts for the LDT and chipset, I'm priming 2600 / 1.328v / 37C stock heatpipe HSF on the bench. It may even run at lower vcore, haven't got that far. Awesome already, may yet become legendary. :toast: :woot:

Anyone in the UK looking for one of these, this is what mine is:

Jimi can you put that under the coldest you've got and let me know if it bugs. I know for sure LDBHE is good for -56. I gotta load up the tube next time and boot it colder but im sure the cold bug is almost nonexistent. Need to put the word out either way for that LDBFE stepping though.

I'll probably get to the cold over the weekend (I like to have a bit of stock HSF foreplay lol). It's 40 minutes into this dual SP2004 session, damn I'm loving it.

What on earth is this going to be like subzero? :eek:
