Nice 1320mhz w/ PL8.. I usually run PL7 @ 1066 w/ 1.9V :)

nice cpu i see there ;)
Really good results there Mafio, PL 7 at 500 MHz FSB is awesome!
Do you have an Everest benchmark result of it?
A bit OT, but why are you still using such old versions of Everest and MemSet?
MemSet 4.0 and Everest 5.01 are available and will recognize your board and memory correctly! Check it out! :)
ep45 extreme @ 500 fsb, PL 7

the bandwidth is about the same...
if i remember correctly dfi do 0.05ns better than my gigabyte
but my gigabyte can do over 600mhz of fsb on air, my dfi p45 UT boot @ 530/540...
for 530/540 of fsb p35 is good, a p45 if isn't capable of 600+ mhz of fsb is totally useless ;)
UT P45@600FSB has been done:

A poster here has even done it: http://67.90.82.13/forums/showpost.p...1&postcount=32
600+ (maybe 610) on dfi ut p35 :p (read in sign ;))
gigabyte p45 are good not only with quad, but also with dual...i made 660mhz with e8400 @ air (temp amb 20°)
yep, they quite sucks @ memory bandwidth, but all board suck compared to dfi ;)
Not the best spot for this I know...
Looking for some proven D9's as backups to my Firestix in the US for a reasonable price :)
Would like some Teams or CellShocks but just need a backup set (or a primary set if they can out clock my Firestix ;))
i'm waiting your dfi p45 UT at 657mhz of fsb with multiplier 7x

i'm at air ;)
zsamz_, everytime someone posts a result made with a Gigabyte board you say how much slower it is than a DFI. Don't get me wrong, I like DFI for pushing memory speed and timings and the BIOS work they have delivered for years is awesome.
But now I own a Gigabyte board, and I would like to see how big the DFI advantage is in reality at the same clocks. So maybe we can agree on some clocks just like Vince's low-clock challenge and you will run the Everest benchmarks and Mafio and I will be happy to try and match your results! :)
Deal?
i agree with dan ;)
anyway dfi superior speed @ same settings is evident. but, dfi p45 series is not so good as gigabyte, expecially in fsb clocking. also in clocking ram gigabyte has improved a lot. and man, dfi ut p35 il really >>> than ut p45 ;)
