I could be wrong but I think most of the evil point loving XS folders count points as milestones. WUs? Phffft!!!

well then how about me about to break 500000 points?
That's awesome!
We don't really have any rituals, per se.
At least, I don't. Some around here are known to have some verrrry strange habits and customs.... :para:
well there i go, 1000 units http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/...ic&teamnum=278
i celebrated by finishing my 500ml tub of Ben And Jerry's "Half Baked" flavour ice cream
Ice cream sounds good right about now. *envy*
does anybody know why both my SMP and GPU clients are not using more than 13% cpu?
I am going to break 1,000,000 points either tomorrow or Thursday. :)
Thanks everyone here for helping me contribute to the cause. ;)

sorry just had to post this... the actual certificates seem to take some time to update , last night i checked it still said 990 work units
Way to fold everyone, it's good to have you here! =)
Hey road-runner. Nice to see you pop in!
Oh no havent exceeded the cooling of the 10 x 10 room with 24,000 BTU A/C, exceeded my pocketbooks ability to pay for electricity. :D I still have Folding Texas yes just havent crunched on it in awhile.
I am running 6-i7s right now counting the main rig, got 3 more i7s and a 980x that are off right now, waiting on a little colder weather, running the windows client in linux with wine for bigadv since stanford screwed the linux client up....
Nice farm!!! :yepp: It sucks to be Utility limited. I just got my monthly notice that I'll be in the 5th tier, paying through the nose it I don't shut down for the month. :shakes:
I'm trying to get away from the GPU clients as the suck too much juice. And the 9800GX 2s are problematic as are my GTX 295s. Alas, I only have 1 I-7 920 @ 3.8Ghz and a 980x @4.0Ghz. :( I'm going to be ordering a 12GB ram kit so I can get the 920 off small work packets. :)
I am only running 3Gb of RAM on some of my i7s, that is plenty for Linux bigadv, even plenty running the windows client in wine. I know what you mean on the video cards sucking juice, when they came out with bigadv I sold all my video cards and quads, replaced with i7s.
i7s are great on bigadv folding and WCG, win/win situation...
Edited it in .cfg for big. Put a -bigadv in the shortcut parameters. Restarted. I'll report back if/when it gets a bigadv.
Which client 6.30? I just set the 6.30 with wine on 5 rigs last week and was able to change to big WUs and add the perimeters -bigadv and it didnt say anything about memory.
The 920 snagged one last night. With 1 gpu client running it's turning 39:58 frame times and showing 24,303 ppd. Machine total 31K + :)
31k....
*envy*
wow, i need to retire these gpus and build an i7 rig...
If you do retire a gtx260... lmk...
Fired up 3 more i7s a bit ago... :D
Nice RR!
