I'm at box cooling. It hits 60 with 1,45 v full load.Quote:

Are you planning on attaching that nice Vapochill up to it?
Yes it's cind of hot, bot I'm running the stock AMD cooling paste :rolleyes:Quote:

I'll see if I get the time to mess around with the vapo this weekend, otherwise I could do it on monday.
BTW, just ordered another x2 3800+ - Hoping for another LDBHE 0601 UPMW
Thank you to Mario Bros - you made me reinstall my watercooling completely, and remove one of my two rads (dual heatercore and 120.2 copper Rad). Now that there is not as much flow restriction and I have shortened all piping etc, I now dual prime load 1.50v 11x255 = 2805mhz @ 38-40C :D. At my previous clock which was 39 on 1.36v and 2600mhz, I now am down 5C to 34C. Excellent temps all round, allowing me to push harder. So, thank you very much :D.Quote:

Just got this running today. My first AMD.
Athlon 64 X2
ADA3800DAA5BV
LDBHE 0605GPMW
Am I the only one who have a really hard time getting my temps down?
When dual priming the temp is around 60 :( And this is at 1,36 V. :stick:
I have tried changing the thermal paste, but it didn't help.
I'm running on stock cooling...
New clock from what I had before:
CPU-Z validated
X2 4400+ CCBWE 0546SPAW @ 2805mhz (11x255) 1.49V
http://www.diduknow.co.uk/dual%20pri...0validated.PNG
:D Dual prime loaded @ 42C custom watercooled - Swiftech MCW6002, AquaExtreme 50z, dual heatercore in push/pull config, Silverprop HL fusion (not connected up to graphics yet [X1800XT 512MB]).
Just mounted my vapochill (damn I have missed the sound of it  ), and it's running about 10 C to 12 C full load at dual prime with 1,36 V.Quote:

I'll be posting some results later today :p:
Would you buy an X2 3800+ 0605 TPMW?
Here are the first results. Know it isn't much valid, but will post some more valid results later :)
BTW how do you enable the time function, so you can see for how long i prime have run??
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...uicktestII.jpg
you want to use sp2004 for that.
Anyway im back on my CPU (finally!!) currently priming at 2.1ghz. Smartguardian reports a nice 17c temps, with stock votls and 2.1ghz. Since im in an ambient of 10c and using a 120.3 for just the cpu (x1800xt on air at the mo) it's pretty good.
Now no flaming for not being a long time, or because it's a low priority.
But here's where i am at the moment - looking like quite a nice chip. Please note, haven't tried any higher. And only been playing with this for about 4 hours.

Don, is your chip an N or T chip?
N. Is that good or bad?
it completed 2.6ghz for an hour, so i upped to 2.7ghz, core 0 died after 1m 13s. Time to start the voltage increasing process!
I think it's good. The one I got this morning is an N chip. tpmw 0601 3800. Not golden but no dog for dogsx2.;)Quote:

my 3800 that i got to about 2.8 on air core 1 unstable prime
CCBWE 0545RPMW is this a good stepping?
Has anyone seen or had a recent CDBHE. I just got an 0607TPMW (X2~3800+), today; was expecting an LDBHE, but saw the BH and figured what the heck, I'll give it a shot. Was wondering what other folks have done with this stepping. Waiting on cooling, should be here tomorrow.
It's a kind of weird CPU. It primes at 2950 MHz and 1,378 V for a few hours, but as soon as I bumps it up to 3000 MHz It crashes emidiatly.
And BTW I crashed my windows, so have to reinstall before I can test futher :(
I hope to get it tested fully this weekend, and also get to test my TPMW stepping...
im guessing ur on phase for that kind of OC?
Yep, a small stock vapochill SE :stick: Gonna try to bump up the voltage later today.Quote:

Perhaps I will take off the ihs from the manchester I will get this weekend.
im thinking about popping the IHS on my 3800 for my nwe watercooling, but i have a dud toledo not manchester
another 3800 is on the way, canceled my 126 order lol! I love these things. once i get my sli-dr board thats replacing my ultra-d im gonna install my old or new 3800 not sure, install watercooling, get a new windows serial because my other board died, then gonna install the hotfix and dual copre patch for quake 4. If i use my old one illl get to mad overclocking first thing if new ill burn in then oc mad.
