Trigger that looks sick!

More pics tonight, got the black fluid in..she's tight as a drum and leak free. The compression fittings work well where I could use them.
Something interesting with this setup, I'm using an alphacool temp sensor screwed into the EK res to get the water temp. Idle CPU temp is only +1 or +2 degrees celsius above the water temp...Everest says the MCP is 44c versus the CPU at 35C and you can see it's it's second in the loop. The MCP is hot as hell on the motherboards..not sure how well passive can handle it. Also I was a little worried WC the whole thing in one loop, but I'm getting great flow so it's no issue.
That is awsome, I'll be getting one of those for sure.
Looking forward for Bitspower to release that block. Black/metal finish with the Thermalrights would combine perfectly.
Slim...Some pics now in the Water Cooling Gallery

Nice, Im gonna check it out ;)
Nice work Trigger!!!
any bios updates yet? It's been a while since the last one.
well I had the evga...cause I wanted to test something else beside asus.
think it has taken 3 days and I've ordered the asus ^^
Arg.... I think I ruined my ram last night. I tried tightening the timings to 7-6-5-16-1T and all of a sudden the system takes forever too boot up. Upon entering windows I get a BSOD that says "error in pagefile non paged area" or somthing like that I cant remember exactly. I have reset CMOS, and returned timings to normal but it keeps doing the same thing. Is it possible to wreck ram by changing the timings? Voltage was at 2.0V at the time.
Thats what Im afraid of too Fusion. Did you run memtest86+ before login to windows? That is a must
Could it be you corrupted xp? which I doubt...
Im using vista, I will try Memtest tonight when I get home from work. Maybe I corrupted Vista, which I would be much happier about... since its probibly a pain in the butt to RMA my ram to Corsair. It was kinda funny, it took forever to boot, and once It got past the welcome screen all of my devices were unistalled ( hard drives, Video card, sound card).
Well I dealed with Corsair before and they are super fast. I RMAed 1Gb and I got 2 Gbs :D
Btw, always remember to run memtest on DOS before going to windows. Corrupting the system is a really bad thing = reinstall everything.
well:
had a huge vdrop ~ 0,5-0,8v
serious problems with various ram sticks
problems with 65nm cpus
no waterblocks at that time.
was the first board besides asus for years...well I've rly seen so many problems with the s2e, don't know maybe I'm just a lucky one with the ones I bought.
atm I'm testing a set of 4x2gb 1333 and 4x2gb 1600 corsairs, seems to work so far.
Now if I could just turn my 32 bit Vista Ultimate(student discount disc) into a 64 bit version for the reinstall. Yeah I was being stupid with the memory timings.... I wanted to go to bed but I just HAD to get in that last bit of tweaking.....
Well it took a while before I could post again, cause I scratched and killed my board. Lukely I got a new one thru RMA :p ( well, a " repaired " one actually )
I also got my second pair of 2 x 2GB OCZ ram back from RMA, so I can start playing around with 8GB now.
I got everything up and running again, so here a pic from my rig, with spot coolers in action.
An important note if you want to use spotcoolers, USE WASHERS between the board and the spotcooler !!! So you dont scratch the board when you point them in another direction.
I hope I can post some results this weekend.
greetz
cyberghost
please report your OC results with your RAM
I know 8gbs will be somewhat harder than just 2 or 4gbs, you might also need a higher nb voltage than normal.
Really interested to see your results :D
Just ordered an Asus Rampage Extreme, had to lower my FSB & memory to 1620 for a prime stable overclock so nowhere near what the memory is capable of.
Hoping for more from this new board.
Thanks guys for a very useful and informative forum !!.
