Noobish Question: How do you take a screenshot of a BIOS SCreen or Memtest? Is it just done with a digital camera?
Download www.irfanview.com and plugins...
prnt-scr -> open irfanview -> ctrl-v to paste image -> use mouse to highlight only area you want to show -> ctrl-Y to crop that area -> ctrl-R to resize it to 450-575pixels for forums -> save as -> jpeg -> options set at 65-75% quality
= nice small image
HTH
to take bios and memtest screens they use digital camera. You can't run irfanview ;)
doh re-read his question.. yeah digi cam needed :D
now that's weird ...
can you try a different BIOS and get approx 315?
is the Voltage reading correct in CPUz??
how about max bench for sandra,pi??
maybe it's some kind of BIOS bug...
sorry for all of these questions but you understand your speed is way out of the limit
and we have to make sure everything is OK!
/edit have you tested those RAMs in a complete different PC ?
i use digicam.. if you have manual options, try to set the shutter low maybe 1/15 or 1/20 with f 4.0 or 5.0 .. you should get rid of the "flicker" thingQuote:

now i'm wondering about Shroomalistic results...
Ok cool. Now i know there isn't another option. :)
danke
i know this isnt the same thing but it looks like its giving the same results
omfg! :stick: :slobber:
shroomy was jus showing that CPU-Z has an error, nothing more... that ram is actually on a devider... but im not sure which one, maybe 5/6Quote:

Sandra scores are just crap but it looks good. Everything will say that its running at those speeds but it really isnt. If everyone here with an a64 tried the 4 multi, they would get similar results. Now for Setyotomos, I think he got a cpu with the 7 mutli bugged. Maybe his 4 mutli is fine. But like I said, thats good for screenshots only, let see some sandra and pcmark at that and see what they get.
330*4/5 as i can remember... 264mhz. It's not so bad... ;)
thought it was 1:1 :p:
if you like that, check this out - Another cheat....
If only it was true........

hahaha, just showing how numbers can easily be changed. Even if its not intentional but these are intentional. ;)
use cpuz version 1.26
that sandra attach is a new WR! Onepagebook to go over 9200 needed (as i remember) lot of MSI boards and some cherrypicked Gskills...
:D:D:D:D One day that 55000 points sandra will be real... i hope so :P
further proof that 315+ 2-2-2- memtest bandwidth is too low
on DFI NF3 250Gb with 3700+ cpu @ 9x 273mhz
2x 256MB XMS3500C2v1.1 BH-5 @ 273mhz 2-2-2-6 at 3.57v = 2000 MB/s bandwidth
2x 256MB XMS3500C2v1.1 BH-5 @ 266mhz 2-2-2-6 at 3.57v = 1949 MB/s bandwidth
:hehe: that 315MHz is running at 2T timing & 256 idle clockQuote:

it also could be that it is slightly unstable, so thats why its wrong.
i just touched my NB cooler, the passive one that comes installed, and it was pretty hot, i was surprised how hot it was, i'm probably going to need to put my microcool on it, i think it will just barely fit with my 9800pro.
