my board limit at 380 fsb!:( :(
now its time to buy a new board i dont know gigabyte p35 dq6 or a asus p5k deluxe or premium!
What are people getting with these on air cooling?
3.6GHz is pretty average with good aircooler.
Many low VID chips around now with the new batches :)
I got my new Q6600 from Frys BF deal. I havent had a chance to test it yet but I did notice the 1.20 VID . This is the lowest I have seen hopefully it clocks like a beast.
Is it possible for me to get my Q6600 Q0 at 500x7, using Scythe Ninja, and Abit IP35.
Thanks
Yep, they are good clockers :)
L737B

Just testing, will prime for at least 2 hours when find the "sweet spot"
Rbs.
Yeah I only played around for a few hours with my Q6600 so I just put 1,3V in BIOS and it booted fine for 3GHz and then for 3,2GHz... CPUz and Probe reports 1,256V, I didn't try to lower the Vcore cuz I didn't have much time for testing but I will test a lot of settings this week :D

L737A823 - 1.2875 VID - Packed 10/17/07
3.2 GHz = 1.264 Load vCore
3.6 GHz = 1.376 Load vCore
I'm happy with it!
Cured AS5 w/ TRUE + 1 Fan. No lapping.
It's a good one too :)
nice
mine is L737A806 - 1.200 VID - Packed 10/17/07

I had to give up my Scythe Infinity to another build. I'm using the Scythe Ninja Rev. B right now on my quad. Prime95 running on all cores i'm getting close to 70C. The thermal paste hasn't set in yet but i'm not counting on the temps getting any better. Your best bet is to get a Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120.
rbsmontemor, I got the exact same settings as you :D 3,8GHz @ 1,376V
I'm Priming for 30 mins now and my cores are hot; they runs in the high 60's and mid 70's.
Is it too hot?
Let me see
PLL:1,6V
vFSB:1,4V
vMCH (NB):1,45V
Rest on auto... I haven't try lower I just selected that and it worked fine hehe
I'm waiting for my case here is a shot of my rig atm lol:

My room temp is almost 27 degrees that might explain my high cpu temperature...
Cool I'll try to lower my voltages as well... My board has a huge vDroop... I selected 1,45V in BIOS and I was down to 1,352V on Prime 95... my board shut down a few minutes later... then I selected 1,475 in BIOS and I'm at 1,364-1,376 Prime stable for 30 mins :)
rbs what's your setting for 8x475?
I'm at 9x423 atm and would like to do 8x475 :)
