Do you really need 8Gb (I assume that's 4x2GB)? I can get to 3600 stable @ 1.46v with 4GB and can boot Windows at up to 3800 @ 1.5v - try with 2 sticks and see if that helps OC

2 sticks vs 4 sticks doesn't make much difference the only way i an get into windows at 3.6 is at 1.5875v per the bios i dont have a dmm to test that that actually is but it isnt stable after about 10min it BSOD .
thanks for the help guys right now im workin the bus up 1mhz at a time
9X.
Xerran, what is your RAMs? And how much modules? I have your MB and waiting at x4 955 BE and must buy any 1066MHz RAM. I heard, with 4 modules 1066MHz can be troubles:confused:...Thx[/QUOTE]
2048MB x2 G.SKILL (F2-8800CL5D-4GBPI) DDR2-1100 @ 5-5-5-15, the same RAM in my sig. It's much harder to OC with all four DIMM slots populated but I have heard it is possible with overvoltage on the CPU NB. Maybe someone here has expertise on that.

Did Anyone managed to get command rate 1T with memmory speed more then 1000mhz on any motherboard?
No i think the AM3 boards have still trouble to get high RAM frequencies, maybe in a few weeks with newer bioses :D
I also have trouble getting a high NB clock when having high HTT Base freqs..
Heres mine...i know am at the bottom of the list but so what...lol...I got a forth core for free....lol

I'm not asking for the list to be updated or anything, but this would put me in 3rd place with a higher NB and running a 64 bit OS, which ain't that easy... :p:
~3.92/2.47/1100 mem and pretty damn stable! :D
I'm kinda buzzed, but there are some nice numbers there... It's Photobucket so feel free to click on the icon it won't spam you as bad as ImageShack... :D

Sigh, I bought watercooling so I could get a bit more out of my Phenom II, it seems like im stuck at 3.75GHZ, doesn't go prime stable any higher, not matter how much volt u give it.. =/ Oh well
http://valid.canardpc.com/cache/screenshot/568989.png to time max, with 1.45V, but not prime stable (only with 1.55V) Chew said me, i have not good PSU for hardcore voltage OC :( , for 24/7 il go lower, better max 1.45V at CPU.

guys, I ran x3 720BE 0906,but i cant get over 2200mhz NB freq.. but I cant raise it over 2200mhz, and I assume bios is the wall.
what is the best BIOS for DFI 790FXB-M2RSH? and what BIOS should I use to unlock the 4th core?
thx for reply guys..;)
Just a fast question:
Which would be the best motherboard right now, to overclock a 940BE ?
I would like to have your real-life opinion :)
HastaSSSSS
I have tested Dfi 790FXB Dark and Asus M4A79 Deluxe...of them the Asus wins becuse of stronger pwc + it got firewire connection. Only - on the Asus board is that it have some vdroop but it still clocks higher than the dfi board becuse it can handle more vcore.
