I orderes the MSI but i wait and wait and wait ;)
I show a new screene when i have this board.
I hope i have more with this board!!
My CPU: a64 3200+, winchester core, IHS removed
I get 2750-2775Mhz stable, aircooled with Hyper6 and MSI Neo2+2x256MB BH5
Max stable HTT with LDTx3 in BIOS was app.370MHz
SuperPI 1M@ 270x10 is 30sec, pifast 275x10 was 42,72sec
at this settings I have 8245MB/s mem bandwith and 32,8ns latency
and 3D test with X800PRO@500/1000Mhz give me the first 30K very easy :)
and finaly some cold air bench: (0 -5°C) -open window mod :D
SuperPi 1M-28sec (2922Mhz)
SuperPi 2M-66sec(2885MHz) (1:06)
SuperPi 8M 320sec 2844Mhz (5:20)
HexusPifast - 40,44sec (2925MHz)
very nice results :toast:Quote:

try max async latency = 6ns, read preamble = 5ns, bypass max = 7x and read write queue bypass = 16x and you'll get under 40 sec
dont worry about CAS 1.5, cas 2 is the same ;)
here are my new stats:D :toast:
258 seems to be the sweet spot but you know i gotta post the 2.6 for bragging rights:D
i'v got a new 3dmark 01 score with stock cooling (woot 1st page :p)
-> http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8309589
The amd64 (3200+ nc) is clocked at 2650mhz but with kinda strange settings (9x295 ,1:1 2,5-3-3-7 T2 ) ,i realy can't get a high T1 o.c :( (think is the mem-contr).
And the 6800NU is clocked at 435/920 ,with 6vertex shaders 12pipes and 4 half working pipes
are-you in 2T ?Quote:

i think you can optimize more , i can do better with my PC2700 (she like lowes timing :D )here is with my old ADATA PC4000 ,now i havec one V-DATA which goes more ~280-290 stable with 2.76v :D
then with my PC 2700 noname her is my better SuperPI :
33s @2635Mhz
here be mine, looks prime stable (testing it now)....

my gaming rig
the best board for overclocking would be ?
A Newcastle @ 2.6Ghz with 1.52vcore, something just doesnt seem right. What kind of cooling are you using?Quote:

Although that IS at the top end of the curve it isn't that unthinkable as say, 2.8GHz stable on air with a regular NC.
to pulsar: stock ,no kidding, and my temps never reach 53 on full load, my top oc is 2746 but far from calling it stable. :toast:
Very Good resultat ;)Quote:

GA-K8NF-9, Winnie 3200+, CBBHD 0444MPMW, IHS removed, air cooled (Thermaltake Silent Boost K8).
Too bad it isn't stable at those speeds :D
Killeroy.
What max. clock do you get stable ?
free
Around 2.7 GHz. It's very dependant on my room temperature...

Well must say I am happy with the pci card so far.
Had to bump up vdimm to max on my board 2.8v to get this pi stable. I need to get to 2620mhz at least I think for this to be worth it over 220x12 without relaxing the timings. Having fun playing though... Nice to be above 230FSB, period. Gonna see if this is stable in games before going any higher. Got some fans over mem, doesnt seem to be getting too hot, but we'll see after I torture it a little bit. Wish me luck!
235 is all she's got @2-3-2 with t1 @2.8v, not bad though considering its rated for 217 max with these timings. Gonna try 2-4-3-7 per the spd timings table...

Well I'll add my settings to the mix. Memory clocked down with tightest timings as experiment. It seems more stable and the applications I use doen't really need a whole lot of bandwith. Right now it's 5700mb/s according to SiSoft Sandra '05.
Shuttle SN95G5 with standard heatsink and 1750rpm 92mm fan.
AMD Athlon64 3800+ 2.6Ghz 12x217 1.55V
2x 512mb Corsair XL 2-2-2-5 1t 350mhz (tightest setting available in A64 Tweaker)
A modest oc, but it's prime95 stable so I'm happy :)
first run with winny 3000+ @ 305 HTT
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe /dual 6800s/raptor/Sanmax 339 bh5 ddr 333 512 x 2 and no booster in use.

Newcastle 3200 @ 2720 1.75V
Unfortunately not stable, last stable around 2.6Ghz

Too drunk to remember if I posted this already...
