seeing how you've only been a member here for not even 6 months yet, I don't think you really are going to gain anyone's trust without posting any confirmation from whatever "source" you have.

Until you show something to back up what you said, that slide definitely looks legit, and it will be one of two things:
1. The legit slide
2. A fake leak sent out by amd to catch whoever is leaking their info

But judging by how poorly the 3 series did in vantage and now are spanking nvidia, I'd say its safe to say that the slide is legit

Come on, you have to give better evidence this is fake over what numerous members in this thread, who we do know have access to insider info if not outright hardware say...

Whoa whoa whoa.. where do you get that they're spanking NVIDIA in Vantage?

What kind of exclusivity crap are you trying to pull? Because I've been a member for less than 6 months? Does membership lifetime make anyone on the forums any more correct when the truth comes out? Poor logic. I've seen plenty of people who have been on here for years and they are just as clueless as their fist day :)

And because I choose my posts carefully and don't spam a bunch of crap, I'm untrustworthy.. right:cool:

One thing you'll probably learn in life is that the people who truly know they're right don't tend to argue with the people they know are wrong. If I were posting it to get your "trust" I'd be worried about backing it up. But I'm not, so I won't ;)

Just trying to help spread truth to counter the garbage.

Ask yourself why the lines are supposed to alternate color, yet there are 2 white lines in a row on the "new" sheet.

Different font too. Not to say AMD couldn't change their font, but if they did it looks crappier than it used to ;)

I've been paying attention to this thread since something like page 10 up to now, I find it hard to believe that you (who hasn't seen half the hundreds of reposts of ati's performance numbers, whether fake or legit) are going to start off with immidietly challenging everyone else in the discussion.

FYI, since you find yourself with a better position then the rest of us, the r700 scores ~x5500 while an oc'd gtx 280 scores ~x4800, which is saying something since vantage seems to heavily favor nvidia. There also plenty of other comparisons with the the 4850 and 8800gt or 9800gtx

And this 800 shader slide has been in existence since about yesterday as far as we know right? (when this was posted on nordic). So that doesn't prove precedence in time/agreement. For all we know this was made in response to those Computex clocks.

OHHH I thought you meant they're owning NVIDIA's current products with their current products. :rofl:

Of course their next gen owns NVIDIAs current gen.

As far as the R700 with 2 GPUs beating GTX280.. duh? Run GTX280 in SLI and watch it trounce the R700 :)

That is what you think is true, not what IS true. G92 was not a simple shrink over G80's architecture (não estamos num fórum português), what would make you think nothing could be improved from 65nm to a 55nm shrink?

U would know if u ever worked w/ ppt. If u add a new row it will have the exact same color as the row above. So if u dont always make all these standard slides from ground up new, this will be the result.

The top slide I posted above is real, from AMD, hosted by PCPer.

The bottom slide is the new one. Maybe I'll be alone for now but I call 100% fake because:

1. I know so
2. Font is different
3. Graph is identical to their old one
4. They alternate colors on each line, yet there are two white lines in a row for no reason, like someone did a sloppy copy paste job.

data looks centered to me which would be consistant with the rest of the table.

It could have had a reason, I don't know, for maybe having the 3870 and 3870x2 as a single group or something.

I'm not saying that slide is legitimate. It looks a bit weird in numbers, but it can't be called fake at this moment I believe.

I'm obviously speaking from a purely technological standpoint... anyone can re-price things and it happens day to day. So prices drop, and soon you can get two of them for more than the r700 but also with much higher performance..
