Nice chip :toast:
Quad nozzle? Got any before/after tests?

@4185Mhz at 1.648-1.656v idle
Went for broke to see if i can break my max cpuz validation/wprime 32M that I achieved on Swiftech G4 Storm water and nearly got there - 4mhz better on CPUZ Validation but 4mhz behind on wPrime 32M max clocks :)
Q6600 L725A903
- Swiftech G4 Storm H20 Max CPUZ Validation / Max wPrime 32M = 4181Mhz / 4181Mhz at 1.664v
- Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme Air Max CPUZ Validation / Max wPrime 32M = 4185Mhz / 4176Mhz at 1.648-1.656v

Couldn't submit to wprime/hwbot automatically some problems at wprime.net ?

Long thread = ) with some nice results.
Going q6600 in a week or so but i thought G0's clocked like mad and some people seem stuck at fairly low clocks. I know its all about luck but am i in dreamland thinking i could do 4ghz on my wc setup ? Not that affraid to push the vcore = )
Wc gear: Mcp 655, D-tek Fuzion, Maze 4, Bip3 with 3x Enermax Warp 84cfm
Oh will buy a Gigabyte GA p35 Dq6 and 4Gb ballistix pc8500 at the same time.
Anyone care to compile a list of highest daily overclocks? I'm up to 3.81 @ 1.472 (1.488 idle) on air folding stable, and I think this is the closest I'll get to the 1.5v limit I should be staying under..
Nice FSB! Any more left in it?
If you have good water coolling, you should be able to hit 4Ghz without much of a problem. You will need at least 1.5-1.55v to achieve some stability. GO stepping makes it easier to do modest overclocks by entreme forum standards. I can get 3.2Ghz at stock speeds. You can't do that with the non GO stepping. So in theory, you should be able to overclock much higher at lower voltages with the GO processor.
If you can settle for 3.4-3.5Ghz, you can achieve this with probably around 1.4v without too much trouble.
I'm doing 463x7@1.325V g0 | Ballistix ddr2-6400 1111@5/5/4/9/2.2V
load temps 56/57/50/52@TRUE120 with 120mm push fan
I would call it stable but while stressing with orthos (4 cores 100%) I get some affinity warnings. Should I worry about it?
Eva you can just UL your wprime SS via hwbot site. Strange that I got the same wprime 32m time @ 60mhz less. Still trying to figure out what tweeks help with this bench.

Could do alot more if this p5k didnt droop so much, 1.624v = 1.435v load even with pencil mod. Might need a better psu or something, seems a bit much.
blinkin - use the 4 thread prime, orthos not intended for quad.
Yeah not sure what's with wprime v1.54 over at OCAU forums one guy using Q6600 @4077Mhz got wprime v1.54 32M time of 10.0xx seconds!
Trying to ask him what he did to do that heh - could be memory timings.. as i see you're running 4-4-4-x while i was running 5-5-4-5 heh
Q6600 L725A903 Max FSB Tests
Seems Asus Blitz Formula of mine has slightly better FSB for Q6600 L725A903 than Asus Blitz Extreme. On Blitz Formula, the Q6600 L725A903 could easily hit 490FSB before needing CPU PLL voltage adjustments compared with Blitz Extreme 485FSB mark. Also max bootable FSB was 505FSB vs 500FSB in favour for Blitz Formula.
But for any form of stability i.e. Super Pi 32M or Quad 16M Systool PI test, it was pretty close 495FSB for Blitz Formula on air versus 493FSB for Blitz Extreme on H20 cooling.

Yeah I dunno either, I tweeked mem secondaries for a while and seems to do nothing. Not bad fsb, will have to test mine so I can get an idea if I can gain much sub zero. What is your vdroop like? Those are very nice temps for that voltage.
Yeah testing fsb now for when i go sub zero too :)
vdroop on Blitz formula much better than on Blitz Extreme, up until 1.5875v bios set > 1.552v vdroop is only 0.08v from idle to load -> 1.544 but >1.5875v bios set vdroop fluctuates between 0.08v to 0.16v for me i.e. 1.7 bios set = 1.648-1.656v idle and 1.632v- 1.640v load
Get p95 v25.1 it does 4 threads automatically. Small fft for CPU, blend for both cpu and mem.
thx a lot
Case temps: no clue, whatever Everest thinks, I guess.
Room temps: heh, on the right side of my pc it's around 20C and on the left it's around 35C :D
btw, the other day I set up another G0 (731B) for a friend with a Noctua, on a P5B-Dlx. Spent the night crunching 100% cores at 3400 with 1.256v real
L733B498 ???? Any good?
Just got it from newegg. got the OEM and got a SLACR MALAY
Aren't all the SLACRs (and perhaps the other Intel chips) made in Malaysia?
Got a L34B164 OEM from Clubit, just got it together this evening. VID is 1.2375. I have the GA-P35-DS4 and ran OCCT for 30 minutes at 3600Mhz. Air cooling Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme, S-Flex medium speed push.

Tested max fsb tonight, got to 500 with a little work, Im thinking I can get another 10-15 at least with gtl and mch mods + sub zero. Not a WR chip but should do some decent dice benches at least.
MB: P5K Vanilla, stock except droop mod.

This may be a noob question. What is the difference between your standard q6600 and the G0?
