Anyone knows what could be my OC problem? :S
I can run 2400MHZ @ 1.425V , 2500MHZ @ 1.5V.
Im trying to ruch 2600 but looks like it needs more than 1.55V
Is this safe? My temps @ 2600Mhz is 31idle and 43 load.
My Cpu is very vcore-thirsty :S Why?
Which revisiom is better for oc E-4 or E-6??
thx for help
from my exp. id have to say E6 for sure.
Agreed :fact: :)Quote:

LDBHE 0541RPDW

Right now here we go...

My big problem right now is Heat issues because if CPU reach 55C loosing my system stability ...
When my water (EXOS) is ready again i hope 2800 will be possible or why not 2900 MHZ...
And some stability tests start running while ago after new mobo Bios loaded..:D

Can someone with a X2 4800+ Toledo please post a screenshot of their overclock? My stepbrother has a 4800+ Toledo cooled by a Zalman 9500 heatsink paired with an ABIT KN8-SLi mobo and I want to have an idea on how far I can push it for him. Overclocking on his system is soooo much complicated than it is on my current system lol. Maybe it's because ABIT's bios is much different from DFI's bios.
This is my MAX OC with 1.4 Vcore @ air but NOT stable until now..
Its time to make some Vcore & Vmem Mod on motherboard.:D

anyone found any of those ADV4400 chips yet? Figured we'd see some by now if the teaser poped up in november
Hi!!
please see here my results and tweaks!!!:fact:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=87394
New rig currently dual priming at 260x10, 1.472v, -15C. Taking this nice and slowly, keeping vcore trimmed; on stock HSF, it needed 1.508v for 250x10. G.Skill HZ is holding up nicely at 3-4-4-8 / 260MHz / 1T / 2.6v.
No cold bug so far, it's a toasty little chip so I may avoid it. I am very happy, thought I'd mention it. :D
I have the same stepping. See progress in post #1515. Have you got yours running? Did you get it from Overclock?Quote:

CCBWE 0529TPMW, was gonna swap an opty CCBWE 0550UPMW in but it wouldn't overclock worth a damn  Coudn't even do 2.4GHz on stock volts, so I decided to keep the X2, overclocks way better.

Meh... nice clock for the volts there, wish mine did that :/
OK, cold bugged Toledo 3800 eats volts and fails to excel on phase.
Here it is:

and at 2850, when core 0 failed prime after 6 minutes, it needed something else to do:

Oops. My stepping is CCBWE 0529 RPMW
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to see what everyone thought about the steppings on this chip I just bought? It's an X2 4200+.
LDBHE 0550SPBW:D
How well of an overclocker do you all think it will be?
You think I can get 3Ghz ou of it on phase?
yeh i reckon so. Just a guess mind you, but i think LDBHE's are quite good normally.
Hey Peepz... Can some of you post the steppings of your X2 4400 and your OC results.. Planning on buying one but have no idea what stepping to buy.. of course i want a good oc'er. :p:
can you get an x2 4000? I believe it goes X2 3800, X2 4200. No 2ghz with 1mb cache, sadly.
