thats awesome, there are a bunch of us that would love to know how to fix the OVP problem .... A digi cam pic of his board and the OVP mod would be GREATLY APPRECIATED :toast:

ASUS A8V is THE mobo for 939 IMO. :) (Pairing it with EB would be the best option)

well there is no doubt the a8v is a good mb but not even close to being the best since you cant get over 3.0vdimm... For stock use i would agree its the best.. but until we can all use vdimm above 3.0v its definately not the best board for overclocking.. have to stay with nf3 for high 1:1 ddr speeds...

for TCCD 3v is quite enough for DDR600

finaly got me a x800xt, its doing 600/620 default volt on air. Now it's voltmodded and mounted on the -112 C cascade. Testbench no oc was 35771 :banana:

tom, could u share the mod with us even if its a board killer?

are u saying u have the OVP modded? or did u somehow find bug that lets u past it with the booster?

Whoa dont :banana::banana::banana::banana: with me like that, I think my heart almost stopped, you must mean 2949mhz almost 4ghz on a FX-53 is crazy fast! BTW this is BH-5 2-2-2-5 @ 300mhz? Nice work with the 4.2vdimm :toast:

I think a 4ghz FX-53 would be faster than that, but I dont know pifast at all, I think thats due the all the mem bandwidth he has...

Yes but then why would he run 4.2v? Nobody puts that much through any ram except bh-5, please give us more details!

Yuri I don't know how you did that , but congrats man......You are one of your kind in Photochop.......or you have manipulate the calculations in Pi-Fast..... :D

You should also "correct" the other times as well so as to be believed.....For example : You should do the 4.17 - 2.52 - 1.70 less than that compared with the others..... ;)

The timings dont quite match up for 13x, unless the ram is running very slack timings, but then again running 300 Mhz would require very loose timings

13x303 with super timings could achieve 30.58 sec, but I must now go and test 3-4-4-8-2T ;)

Even with very loose timings on Ram , it's not possible.....You can't have that score on the first bench and on the other three ones geting those crappy scores.... ;)
