So, if I have a DFI x58 board and it dies, where to file for RMA? Or do they no longer offer any support or RMA? That really sucks if you happen to own one of their boards.

Contact is same as always.

Scan.co.uk still have some boards here in the uk.
Hello everyone. Me again with the same problem. I will explain a little bit more.
I've been trying the last months to solve this but I couldn't.
The problem is:
A few months ago I installed a new hard drive (WD Green 1tb), I plugged it with the sata cable and the power cable from the psu. Untill here everything ok. But then every time I shut down my computer from windows (I have windows 7 professional), it doesnt shut down properly. What I mean is that... the fans still on, and the yellow light nest to the ram slots in my motheboard (DFI UT X58 T3eH8) still also on. And I certanly don't know if remains anything else working.
The only way I can shut it off propery is by the power button in my case, which shut down windows properly and the whole system.
So what could it be?
I already tried to format my computer and installed all over again, I don't know if it is a matter of drivers (because even whitout any drivers installed I coulnd't shut it off properly) and then the only drivers I installed were the matrix storage manager and the inf utility.
Also... I have the AHCI enable on my motherboard bios, and the first time all my hdd appear on the safe remove list. But that was untill I installed the matrix storage manager, I dont know if it changed something or what.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
no one?
Please don't let me down, this thing is driving me crazy.
I've installe everything from the beginning and nothing, I think is a problem related to the board or some bios setting.
I also tried to flash the bios with some old bios, and also nothing. This is incredible!

I havent been updating bios or any hardware for a year, so I'm quite surpriced that DFI & DFI forum has closed
I was thinking of flashing my bios to 06/15 but cant find my USB stick from last time, so i'll have to make a new booteble usb. Where can i find instruktions on how to do this..?
Thanks :O)

I'm having big trouble with this board. All was going well up until today. It restarted under heavy load and gave me POST code 7F. After some fiddling, I got it to boot again.
Now my problem is my CPU VTT voltage is so messed up... I had it set to 1.28v in BIOS which it was usually pretty close to that in Windows. Now I set it to 1.28v and it shows 1.22v in Windows and bios, and under load I get massive droop where it will go down to like 1.10v. When I run LinX, it doesn't crash but it never completes a pass... It can just run forever on the first one and not do anything, so there is definitely something wrong. I really doubt it's my PSU and all the other voltages are fine. Anyone have any clue what's up?
I just tried flashing back to 4/29 bios and still does the same thing. And icing on the cake: USB headers don't work, when I shut down from Windows, the monitor turns off and the board hangs at FF, and my sound card isn't working (presumably dead PCI slot).
weird 908 bios turned from final to beta...now 429 is the last final non beta version!maybe a new bios is comming up;)
Ill have to admit that ive tryed a bunch of bios'es and 4/22 does not recognise my 250 gig hard drive and o/clocks terrible...9/08 isnt too bad but 6/15 gives the the best o/clock and my ram runs at 1750 1n ,also the highest o/clock with the least amount of voltage...
all this after trying different bios many times to see the difference...in my case 6/15 runs the best hands down...just thought id let whats left of the dfi crowd know..not many of us left now...
I'm still here :)
Fired up the x58 again last week, going to swap it out with my LP P45 home server board soon then use the LP P45 for my work 24/7 rig & bump my other DK 45, P35 BI & NF4 down the line one more notch.
Problem is all my boards are running perfectly & as such I take them for granted so have nothing to post about!
4.5 GHz HT OFF @ 1.36v @ Linx

4GHz HT ON @ stock @ Linx

Cooling like in sig.
I think lower voltages were possible - this were quick tests. I'm using this setup 24/7 at 3.8 HT OFF undervolted.
Anyone running a Gultown in this board?
As you can see in my sig below, I have a 990x in the DK version with Bios 6/15 - it lets me change the Turbo Boost Multi but not the Default Boot Multi - is that the same on a UT?
have you tryed bios 0908....ive got mine tweeked now...it went from final back to beta but i think they made some changes as now its as good or better than 0615 bios....at least on my setup....
you think we will get any more bios updates? ive emailed the asian email twice and no responce...it would be nice to have updates even if it just was for new cpu's that come out for this board...
Bios 0908 is the best one and probably the last one.
It supports my Gultown 4.6GHz/1.4V and 12 GB memory without any problem.

Atomel what a beautiful setup you have there..literally a work of art..I thought my rig was beautiful but yours puts mine to shame....im now looking for a 570 to replace my 920 for some more fun with my DK version...great job guy....
awesome rig Atomel
Sorry to reopen such a old post but need some advice, I presently have a 920d running at 3800 (200x19) at 1.18v with 3x2gb corsair xms3 cl7 1600 ram(1.24cpuvtt) all rock solid.
Mr Santa is bringing me 3x4gb 2133 gskill ripjaw x and I am wondering how I am gonna get them running at this speed on this board! Any best ideas or thoughts greatly appreciated. I know cpuvtt is going to be a lot higher but how high? Also, I can't remember how to force turbo constantly on and is it 21 or 22 multiplier? I have 4 of these sticks ready for ivy bridge upgrade path in feb-march so this is just to keep me occupied till then!

to force multiplier at 21x i think you should enable EIST in bios, btw i'm not so sure, it's been 6+ months since the last time i used this board.
keep the RAM at 2133 MHz in DU with a 1366 CPU that isn't a 980x/990x is too hard for the MCH, better to have them between 1600 and 1800 MHz with tight timings.
the VTT required for 2133 stable i guess would be, in the best case, 1.45 volt, that IMHO is far too much for DU even considering how low is the impact of memory frequency in day to day applications.
and, merry Christmas :D
Thanks for help. Settled at 2000mhz 9-9-9 at 1.28vtt. Will maybe get to 2133 speed when switch to ivy bridge.

your CPU have a godlike MCH :D
after installing and watercooling system with XSPC full cover block i have been experiencing few issues:
1. can't get more than 1.13v to IOH - upper PCI-E x16 slot won't work when rasing the voltage above 1.13, on 1.15v it's unstable but after fowards no response. i know this cause i have two cards in Crossfire (HD6850's) and the other works.
2. Shutedown in LINX stress at 210BCLK - tried tweaking voltages and features like IOH/CPU driving strengh but none helped
3. after shutdown computer won't start unless i unplug it from power
temps are realy low, could it be that the MB block pressing to hard on the ioh?
cause the PCB a little bit bended it the Phase region by the MB block
and the cpu PCB region also a little bit bended by the CPU block ..
My T3eH8 just died again after being repaired under warranty last year. It seems to be a capacitor (refusing to power up at all, but the idle LED lights turn on when connected to the PSU) once again - the exact same problem as the last time.
I cannot see any blown capacitors - all seem to be high quality.
I'm just wondering if there's a good way to take a look at all the tiny stuff and see what needs fixing?
