No heatsink on anything, only 1 fan in the entire system on the PSU.

Neither, because Apple are the devil. I'd personally look at some other brands (Samsung, Sony, iRiver, Creative Zen, etc), which usually offer better value/quality/sound/storage than equivalent Apple products simply because they don't have that damn Apple logo. Plus you don't need to use iTunes, which I find to be one of the worst media players in the history of mankind.
Think I'll be able to fit an mATX i7 board, i920, MCR220, 2x HD4870 1GB's, a Xonar DX, 2 HDDs and a DVD drive into a Lian Li PC-V350?

Why go 2x 4870's and not just one 280 to save room for the other stuff.

I don't have enough clearance for any GPUs longer than about 9.6" (ie can't over-hand the motherboard). And only some of the HD4870's will fit (ones by Palit and Gainward that have power connectors on the top). But yes, thread with tonnes of pictures will be made when I actually do it. Still not sure if I'll be able to fit the 2nd HD4870 1Gb due to clearance and cooling, though.Quote:
