TopFuel1471, I've found mine to be very sleeve-friendly for an amateur (my first sleeveing job). Even with fingers i was able to push staple in, than click, pulling a cable (nothing violent) and that's it. Problem is that Be Quiet is hard to find in USA (afaik). Top range is a world-class comparable with Enermax (and cheaper, though) http://www.be-quiet.net/be-quiet.net...websiteLang=en

Guys I need fast help as I need to get a PC sleeved and out the door....
Real quick
1. Is MDPC-X the best quality sleeving? Do they ship to the US? Do they do UV reactive? Do you have to order a specific quantity?
2. I want to sleeve various componenets... I have sleeved PCI-E before with 1/8" sleeve and 1/8" shrink.. my question is....
What size sleeving/heatshrink do I need to do various cables (SATA data/power, fan, USB, etc...)
I hope I am not being too vague...
-
1) most would say its the best quality (i've seen realllly nice nylon multifiliment before though), yes they ship to the states, yes there are relatively UV reactive colours, I think so...
2) most of the sleeve on the MDPC-X site is "application-oriented" aka...SATA sleeve/shrink...etc

i dont know whats better, the sleeving or the photography

guys needed a little tip on how to sleeve the corsair hx1000 power supply's extra pci-e connectors. they have that round hard plastic bit which i think i saw somewhere is a pain in the anus to take off. any suggestions?
oh and btw thanks nils for the amazing sleeve u sent. was real quick too. wasnt expecting the shipment to arrive so quick to pakistan. :) 2 thumbs up to you.
also i wanted to ask for a little help. the process known as "anti-fraying" well nils said in the tutorial that i should burn the cut end of the sleeve with a lighter, but whenever i try doing this, as soon as the sleeve goes under the flame it just catches fire a little and burns. im having a hard time getting a hold of this concept. please help a mega noob out:). Thanks
-
Just put the very end of the sleeve in a flame for a blink of an eye. Just enough to form molten "spheres" at the end of the single "wires". It will prevent the whole sleeve to be stretched to much and to loose its shape.

Here are some pics of mine after doing the PCI-E sleeving for my GTX 285

you guys may hang me for this but is there somewhere to get cheaper good sleave?? i love mdpc-x but i just dont have that much to spend right now. so something nice but a tad cheaper than mdpc-x? I need like 50 feet or so of black sleave and 50 feet or so of whit sleave and heatshrink
-
need help please
What sleeving and heat-shrink size do you guys use for fans sleeving?
my guess is 1/4 sleeving and 3/8 heat shrink (3:1).
Or maybe 1/8 is enough for three 24 AWG wires?
The same question concerns mounting clamp size, for fan wires and sata/molex wires.

NZXT-China-Pre-Sleeved-Cables: Black cable underneath would even make no sleeve look "dense" (marketing alarm). We had this in Germany for so long, but all the affiliated shops needed to protect NZXT and deleted a lot of postings and pictures that showed the "marketing bull****" uncovered at its best :D
But as everything needs to come to the lowest level of the market, there finally is a choice. It's for the "casual people" and these usually don't hang out in forums :D
