I'm surprised they don't answer the phone and cancel all the e6600 for $339.00 orders then sell them for $359.00.Quote:

Any new info on when the E6600's are going to be available and why they are nowhere to be found right now?
They can be found here. Hope you're sitting down:Quote:

Anyway, their ratings look pretty good aside from great examples like that.
i purchased a p5b deluxe at like 430pm EST on friday. - ~$210 - three day shipping. i had tracking number that same night - i expect the board tomorrow.Quote:

btw.. the e6600 was listed for preorder at $350 until yesterday afternoon on xpcgear.com they raised the price after they got it - i won't buy it form them...
VERY tempted to pay 420 dollars for that xPC gear... I am fvcking tired of waiting...
Honestly, I expect to pay 420~ for a 6600 at this point.
Unless my local Fry's gets some soon..
Yeah, I'm thinking either pay 420 for the xpc e6600, or pay 350 or so for an outpost.com preorder that is coming 8/14.
Yeah i'd say Retail box is going to be going for 420 for quite some time, with the littler guys waiting on distributors like ASI Computer and Ingram Micro the Prices will stay high.
also what is up with ATACom?? i ordered a mobo there like a week ago got that sinking feeling that it was a raw deal cancelled but now i see they are the only place with a p5w DH in stock... i really need both that mobo and an e6600... OEM from Micro Center is getting more tempting since i can have it today @ 408 after tax and crap
Call them and ask for the Froogle price which is still advertised at $349 for a E6600.Quote:

They have oodles of 64 and 63 though =P
I say always go with your gut feeling... If you canceled the order because of it stick with itQuote:

whats up with that??????
i agree. every (r)etailer that's raising prices as soon as they have stock. i'd rather wait another week(or month) and buy from fry's then give in to those bastards... plus my p4 550 might be running hot, but i have ac so, them!Quote:

I accepted their offer. $329 isn't too bad for a E6600 and I don't plan to use a factory heatsink. I'm also not worried about warranty >1yr either.
I'll refrain from leaving them negative feedback if they do what they say.
I ordered from XPCgear.com to get my p5w and some memory. I asked for a newer mobo with conroe compatible bios but they gave me an old one and they shipped the memory seperatly w/o informing me. It was also shipped ground [the memory] when the original order was 3 day.
Three words:Quote:

Sure, I can see where one could confuse a bunch of retail boxes with trays full of processors
One of two things happened: Either the inventory guy really IS that stupid, or they did this intentionally to get people to order from them under false pretenses. Either way, that's not good.
yeah you guys just renewed my patience, only problem is i need a rig to leave for school with and that day is August 30th. and i still need a P5W and an E6600, thats all im waiting on
and o yeah, SCREW ATACOM... they are inflating their own reseller ratings, i read all their ratings everyone who speaks NORMAL english with Verbs nouns and the like gives them dissatisfied, people who speak with broken english and missing verbs give positive and the guy i spoke with on the phone also spoke very broken english... i would say avoid atacom like the plague.
