Had the same problem...i had 1203 with an x3 720 be unleash mode was cool, as i could unlock my extra core......i updated to 1501 cause i got an x2 555..the think is that anything above 210 x ? cant boot my pc.....with 1203 i was hitting 250~...so i got back to it...
Can i use SSD on this Mobo? Any good improve?
Thanks
Yes you can and they work fine. Honestly, what kind of question is that? Cant all modern MBs use a SSD? Even motherboards with only SATA1 can use them and only be limited on the max sustained speeds.
It seems ASUS have stop support M3A series :(
Last BIOS Update 1501 was at Dec 2009 and no further update available
I wish this board can support the up-coming Phenom II x6 but without BIOS support
I guess I have to head out and grab a new 890FX (probably not ASUS again)
Why would the current lack of a newer BIOS lead you to believe Asus no longer supports the board? As new CPU's are released Asus has updated the BIOS for them. Since the X-6 has yet to be released they still have time. Now when the X-6 is released and then they don't come out with a BIOS to support it, your claime of Asus no longer supporting the M3A series might hold some weight. But not before that point in time.

whats the reserved value means ? anybody know ? i cant loosen the ram timing more than that..
I've been wondering that too. A bit silly really that with x5,33 multi you can't set tras, trp, trcd lower than 15, 5 and 5. If I want to set 1200MHz 4-4-4-4 or 1300 5-5-5-5 i need to use x4 multi, and that is pushing the fsb to max :/
But even M3N78-VM got BIOS update to support Phenom II x6
Similar design "M4A79 DELUXE" have support BIOS in the list
but not "M3A79-T DELUXE"
I hope ASUS will get BIOS udpate for this board as I am planning to drop an Phenom II x6 1090T with it
If it isn't the case , no further ASUS product I will consider
Call or email Asus Tech Support and demand an update for the X6. There is no physical reason the M3A79T-Deluxe can not support the CPU. With the memory controllers on the CPU die, the 79FX chipset in the M3A79T-Deluxe is identical to the M4A79 Deluxe.
i'll try it on the board with the lastest bios
I'll have it overnighted on release day
we might get lucky and not need an update
I'm feeling a little worried that we won't get Phenom II X6 BIOS support guys!

The M4 boys have it already, but no mention on us M3 folks. If ASUS doesn't give us support I will never buy another ASUS motherboard out of protest.

Reasonably well I think, above is a couple of OCZ Vertex's in a 64k stripe
I heard that there was a beta Bios going around on these forums. Anyone else hear that rumor or confirm it?
Just trying to find out if this board will be supported for the X6 release this week.
I hope not to wait too long
Any updates on the new BIOS?
I got a 1090T waiting :/
Bingo13 has rekindled hope for the M3A79-T Deluxe! Maybe we'll see this BIOS in the next couple of weeks.Quote:

Probably be seeing it soon than.
says 1501 supports all new phenom II x6
it is now listed in supported cpu guess we don't need an update then.
BIOS 1501 doesn't support 1090T CPU. I've tried it and does not work :(
2 weeks? Man thats a major suck.
