Then I think You will have to wait for more "official" tests couducted by the "usual" sites.. (THG, Anand, VRZone..etc).. or if any of the "gamer members" on this forum by any chance should get hold of a "Conroe-rig". (not very likely).
Those "OC-gurus".. or "small-time bencher" (like myself) do not care much for games.. and are mostly interested in the "usual" synthetic benches.. trying to set WR's or PR's.. :)

I don't see the problem.. they have the CPU and the Board.. and I figure some kind of Graphics card.. it shouldn't be difficult to test the games and tell us the FPS and the settings and the like..
Don't get me wrong Synthetic tests are very helpful but they just do give justice to real game testing.

Cpu's have little impact on gaming performance anyway at decent resolutions and settings.

12k 3d06 on a crossfire score isnt that impressive since i can hit 6800 with 1 7900gtx, with 2 GTX i would be in the 12k mark.

i wana know what these new chips can do in game performance.

quite a few mmorpgs are cpu bound in high traffic areas i.e. FF and EQ2 just for starters.

Well if you broke 12k you'd be top 5 in the world besting some of the top benchers including several legends... why don't you give it a try? It's not as easy as you think. Results speak far louder than words my friend. ;)
