Nice SPi scores! With some tweaking and you will take Kyosens WR's!
Good luck with the CF thingie.
I can't imagine what you could do with that x1900 crossfire once you get clocks like mickeymouses or kincs.. I am sure you will do much more than 21k and easily beat hipros 56k record :fact:
1.03c? Isnt 1.03 beta Merom support latest bios or what is c?Quote:

Hipro :woot:
Thanks a lot, I hope you'll have a new aopen quickly, I'm sure the day you have one, the fsb bug will be gone :D
I'll retry today to make the CF setup work properly, in fact, I don't have any idea of what's happening, the issue is the following :
- happens overclocked or not (cpu and gpu)
- same thing with catalyst 6.2 /6.3 /6.4, all WHQL, no betas here
- no way to make CF work under Windows XP, as soon as I install the ati drivers with both cards plugged (and don't even enable the CF), the system runs slower than if I've disabled the L2 cache :(
- with W2K3, everything is OK... until the flying boat test (both in 3D05 and 3D06), the image looks buggy, it lags sometimes, artifacts... and the next test works fine... so I don't have any idea of what's happening. This bugs only appear when crossfire is activated, if I do it with onyl one card, it's fine (with one or the other)
I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware problem, and beyond that, I've got no idea, I keep trying everything I can to make it work, but for now, it's a no-go :(

Did you try installing with a single card, disable Write Combining, re-boot and then install slave card trick?Quote:

I just have one question (beings im noob to pentiums and all that)
I know that ddr2 with their looser timings make up for it in their overall speeds..
But what would say ddr 270 - 280 2-2-2 be like if this cpu had some?
Or is it already been established in the ddr with 4-4-4-? @ 600?
ddr is beaten by ddr2 now, we can run 400MHz 3-2-2-2, that's a lot faster than 280 2-2-2-2, if you can rise the memory speed, things are still going better for ddr2, 500MHz 4-3-2-2 is even faster !=
54K was single card or CF? If your saying it's slower in CF than single thats what I found out in '01 also but obviously there is a way. I know AI disabled is faster in '01 particularly Nature with CF, but you must have it on Advanced for single card.Quote:

It was with CF, and AI on "advanced".
Does anyone have saved the Vcca mod pic from kyosen, the image link in the thread is broken, and I'd like to do that mod :)
OK you must try disabled ;)
I will, for sure !
For now, I've unmonted the cascade evap from the m/b, I'll do things in this order :
- finding out the cause of my CF bugs with 3D05/06
- modding my m/b for the Tcore and Vcca
- back to the benches !
congrats Tyrou - your doing great:D
The T core mod worked well for me. Be careful when you solder the wire to that outside leg of the chip. I got solder between the first two legs. Then when I was cleaning it out, I took too much solder off and the leg came loose. It all worked out good for me. it just took extra time.Cut the trace closer to the leg of the chip.
Take some pics of the vcca mod if you can.
BTW - That is hot glue on the wires.
What temp. in bios after the mod?Quote:

we'll not do exactly the same mod, but it will still feed the IC with 0.7v :)
Great scores, congrats! :)
