I like it, it gives your loop nice sweeping bends, it doesent look "forced" like some builds you see 'round :)Quote:

Ill post pictures when I get a chance. Went together relatively easily.. was a bit of a pain to fill due to the rads location but I just pulled it off the mounts for a minute and got it filled.
btw gocchin, can you take a picutre of the backside of the mobo tray. I want to see how you routed all of the cables.
Looks nice, sucks about the board. I do find that the chipset on the DFI is annoying but I find if I keep it below 4500 RPM it isn't too noticeable. As for pushing water up the radiator, any work done moving the water up the radiator is made up for when the water comes back down. Since it is a closed loop gravity plays essentially no role, what goes up must come down.

15-20W compared to the 8W of a 50Z and 4-5W of a DDC-1.

50Z has slightly less head and less flow.
DDC-Pro (10W) has about the same head as a 50Z, about half the max flow of a d5, or thereabouts.
DDC-Ultra (18W) has considerably more head, less max flow, and dumps about 8W like a 50Z.
Which makes choosing the best pump very complex, actually... with a smaller rad, the 50Z beats the D5. And the winner between a D5 and DDC-Ultra very much depends on the curves of the blocks. For example in that pump test those french dudes did, the unmodded (!) 10W-DDC came withing like, 0.2c of the D5. And thats with about 10% less head and like 1/3 the max flow.
And now there's the new D-dseries to add to the confusion... the new D4 (which beats the D5 we have now, apparently) and the D5 Vario.
new D4? where did u see that? is it just like a non vario version of the D5?
I need someone to do a noise comparison between the DDC+, D5 and 50Z. l

"Laing D4-Pumpe 12V D4-Basic 1/2" Schlauchanschluss"
3.4m, 1400l/h
where did you get the specs on that page? it didnt show me aything except 2 pictures and a price? very strange..
have to go to the german version from the top of the shop... alphacool.de. i tried to link to it directly, but it does some automagic language choosing, and there is no stats (not even names) on the english pages.
very retarded.. they need to fix their site.
*shrug* the pumps have been up on their site for what, nearly a week now... you'd think theyd have gotten around to it by now...
you'd think so wouldnt u.. lol.
Not only the new laing pumps safer from the same not "translated to english" bug. I bought from alphacool last week and i had to excercise my german... :p:Quote:

Yarr, 80mm fans ftl, should get yerself some nice 120mm fannage PSU, guv'nor...
Hey Maxxx could you do a me a favor and measure the width of the grated area jus to the side of the I/O shield. I need to know if I can reliably place my quick disconnects there. I need atleast 1.75" of width there. Thanks

Great job man, I assume you have the OS on the i-ram (not sure on the exact name), how fast does she boot?
Brandon Ill meausure it tonight for ya.
EDIT: its 1.765 inches.. loll. ur a lucky man.
I was just lying in bed trying to be ultra-lazy and browsing from my PSP... got to this page and it said "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY" *blergh* (x_x) and fell over.
Gocchin, you psp h4xx0r ¬_¬
This leads me to believe my PSP is not Xtreme enough for this forum. I need to WC and OC it. And possibly VMod it.
well gocchins pictures have insanely large file sizes for how big they are... they should be about 1/4 to 1/8 that file size consideirng how big they are.
600x2631, 440kb... thats not too bad. PSP prolly just choked on the height :)
In any case, bad gocchin, bad! :slapass:
oh nvm.. i didnt ralize it was one gigantic picture.. lmao..
