Im not postitive about UCCC chips, but OPB said that with the new Micron chip running a divider on Optys doesnt yeild as good as performance or stability.
So Im not sure how things are with UCCC, but you may want to take that in account as just a generalization for Optys.
They certainly are doing 2800. With some skill and the right mix of Hardware even higher is possible.
Generalizations aren't helpful. Talking from experience, running with a divider or without one with a 170 and HZ yeilded the same results. But that's just been my experience:)Quote:

finally i get a bit lucky too
first i had 2x 512MB Corsair PC4400C25 RAM which clocked really high, but nomatter what speed or bios was allways a bit unstable (random unexplainable blue screens) and very sensitive...
then i got 2x 1GB Gskill ZX which were stable but clocked like :banana::banana::banana::banana: (220mhz max nomatter what settings)
so i exchanged those with my shop to 2x 1GB Gskill HZ which i started testing yesterday evening
till now, with the stock bios ram settings, i could boot in windows till 9x 285Mhz
and 9x 280Mhz primed a few minutes succesfull already too...
but im still looking for a good setting to run at
since my cpu likes 2700mhz max, i tried running 9x300 with the 180 divider, but it wasnt prime stable, so i tried running 9x300 with the 166 divider and cas 2.5, but also that it didnt really like (prime was ok, but 3dmark crashed)
so now (while working) im burning in at 9x300 with 166 divider and cas 3, running prime and 3dmark05 in a loop
when i get home ill see how it liked it :)
but this aint really optimal yet since now mem is running around 245mhz i suppose?
this evening ill try to see if 10x 270 with the 200 divider is rock stable...

Very interesting these HZ modules seems to clock better every week.
Now I have a venice with a TCCD clocked at 302 1:1, but in next days i'll have a 165 (multi 9), these means that if combined with a HZ kit i want to buy, i need to use 300x9 180:200 aprox. Seems very affordable.... ;)

first 10x 270mhz seemed stable (couple of hours prime and in meanwhile 10 loops of 3dmark05, but after a few hours of oblivion everything suddenly freezed)
10x 265mhz seems rockstable (10 hours prime and in meanwhile 4 hours oblivion + 30 loops of 3d mark05)
atm im running occt at 10x 270 to see if i can reproduce the instability shown by the oblivion freeze
i didnt succeed in reproducing that freeze at 10x 270mhz
i tried 9 hours occt, 9 hours prime toghetter with 40 loops of 3dmark05, 3 hours memtest and some more oblivion without any freezes
strange... but i dont really mind ;)

The pair of HZ's in my sig will run only up to 271 Mhz 24/7 stable at 2.77v. 272 and everything craps out, random BSODs, restarts, freezes in programs, etc.

Testing not going well at all really. 0604's dont seem to cut the mustard. I am using all the sttings in bios from GS Techs guide. Got them at 260 2.7v with them settings. 5 Mins Blend stable for the moment.
One strange thing iv noticed, Alot of ppl ahere are using idle cycle limit of 16 to get best results. As soon as i change it from 256 to 16 it fails. So im leaving it at 256 for the time being.
Im a complete n00b at ocing memory as im normally left using a divider. So i dont kno what half the timings do, or how to adjust them. I kno all sets are different so im not gonna ask to copy other ppl's settings. (iv already copied a few A64 shots into my a64 to see if it helps... no joy)
All i need out of these sticks is 270 so i can 1:1 with my opty. If anyone can help me... please feel free.

Doubt if this will help you in any way as i'm running a neo2 but
this is a screeshot of my 0602's at 270 2.6v and timings are 3,4,3,6 1T 1:1.

no joy with them settings dude. Tried a variety of settings at 2.5v jus to kick things off cus i kno these IC's dont really like volts much. Prime at 255mhz wont even pass. These sticks have are worse at ocing from stock than any other memory iv had. including some elixir and nanya stuff which would do at least 15Mhz over stock.
Not givin up yet. but i doubt i'll get much out of them
Try setting trc to 12, for a lot of these, 7 is wildly optimistic.
i set trc to 14!! still no joy
i have got some hz 2x1gb 603................and it was total crap .max stable 3-4-4-8 and very slack alpha timings htt 255 , and it wasn't even stable in 3d..... total stable was abot 251 ...total crap
think im gonna send them back... get some ZX instead
