just curious that they changed the caps from the black that the AD0 used to be to brown.. without a revision change? i guess the board itself is exactly the same, but then i have to wonder what the difference is between this and my AC0, which has the same layout for the richtek chip :confused:

No I think those are UCCC based. The micron based 2gig kit is rated at PC4000 3-3-3-8

Im pretty sure it does I just want my expert to be AD0 if ths is the case..
stable meaning all settings or beter caps=better, less fluxuating voltages?

Only the Ultra-D models are rev AD0. Different boards have different revisions. The old SLI-DR is up to AC0 and the Expert is at Ab0 right now.

that's the problem. voltage does sooooo little for these sticks. i'm having trouble getting 295mhz with 2.8v :p:

gonna try loosening some secondaries and see if it gets me anywhere :D

nope, Ac-0is good for high fsb;) check the chipset date code out;)
ad0 is good for stability;)

There ARE rev AD0 Sli-DR's. No Expert AD0's as they haven't reached that revision yet.....;)

5b F is a 95nm ic. not much voltage is needed. for me, it seems anything over 2.8v hurts my max sPI 32m

this is with 2.73v. the cool thing is that i can actually do stuff at these speeds. with my old board, i had to drop mhz like 10-15mhz below max 32m stable to even use FF :slapass:

I actually cancelled my order of these, but my Team UCCC order just shipped :) Fedex sucks though and it won't be here until March 3 supposedly :(
