My X1900 XTX results (just some 3dmark 05 and F.E.A.R. benchies)
No serious overclocking - definitely CPU-limited.
3dmark 05: highest quality settings via CCC, max. overdrive clocks, 2.6GHz on CPU (Opteron 175 @ 236MHz x11)

F.E.A.R.: same system setup, running game @ 1600x1200, 4x Adaptive AA, 16x HQ AF, highest quality settings in-game (no soft shadows though)

The only other games I have worth benching are HL2 (& CSS), FarCry, and COD2. Other than CSS stress test, I'm not aware of any built-in benchmarking functionality in any of the above games. If anyone knows of any good custom timedemos to d/l let me know and I'll run em.

50% faster at least, and closer to 100% in FEAR and BF2. Turn up the AA to 6x and add HQ AF mode and AA with HDR and you do have something much faster indeed.

If you worried about vertex texture fetch on ATI and using UE3 then dont worry. They dont use it =)

Any reviews other than techreport that compare an x1900xtx to GT SLI? Not sure if I should switch...

I have a single 7800 GT. I'd like to see a good review comparing performance at 1280x1024 to see how much I'd really gain going to the x1900. I might buy a bigger monitor ast some point, but don't have plans to anytime soon.

Where is the 100% improvement in fps, ahmad?

For it to be 100% youd need to go from eg. 75fps to 150fps for it to be 100% improvement, Correct!?

Ofcourse not...neither will the G71.

Thats R600/G80 territory.
