Here's my first results with some Geil One S.
DDR600 @ 2.5-3-3-5 @ 2.7v
IanOcean, how come you get a faster Pi32M time than I when I'm running at 2.7GHz, is it to do with the 1.4mod on Super Pi?
These sticks have more in them I believe, just need more time for testing.
Your SUper 32M is way to slow. Set the to 100Mhz 1.95us; DQS Skew Mode to OFF, and DQS Skew to 0.
Thanks for the help Bamboo, it's hard to fully test when you have limited time on your hands. It's the great guys here that really make my days. :D
My new Venice E6 is maxing at 2.5Ghz
nice but the alpha timings are too "relaxed"Quote:

Good luck with it ian. For the testing of those chips im doubting between a 3500 or 3000+ venice.. What would you guys reccommend?
Regards
I would steer away from the Venice and get an SD core.. the E3/6 seem to be very touchy when running high FSBs with a matching or divider to maintain the memory at DDR600+....Quote:

Hi Guys! (We Gigi...anche tu quì... :D)
Does anybody knows how to reach 300Mhz RS with a pair of GeIL Ultra-X TCCD 2x512Mb?
I can't go over 295Mhz with the following timings and Dfi Lanparty Ultra-D Nf4+venice 3200:
Vdimm 2,8V (with 2,7V i can't pass SuperPi32 M)

nice results sila
Hi! This is my GeIL ONE TCCD
loose timing at 3-4-4-8 at 2.85vdimm at 1T at DDR660(330Mhz) with Super Pi 1 million.
OT: My GeIL ONE TCCD is super hot when doing benchies at 2.85vdimm. How about you guys??? It is hotter than my previous TwinMos SP st 3.6vdimm.

my cpu is blocking me  tried gm and memtest @315 2,5-4-3-5 with same alphas moved max async from 9 to 8 still kicking :D
yes, most performance ram gets warm to hot, thats why these modules have the temp sensors on the side. i would suggest an 80mm fan blowing on them.
i fact i would suggest it to any one overclocking ram. :)

My one does not have temp sensor on the RAM :confused:Quote:
