im glad to see the retail samples out there and working.
did u have any fail to reach the SPD setting of DDR600 2.5-4-4-7? as thats the best way to check any QC dept.
how many can do 2.5-3-3-7 as that would be a 'better' timing for NF4 boards.
well its been designed as a low voltage TCCD chip. opens them up to more users, as still not many boards do more that 2.8v vdimm.

Have received an e-mail from the shop where I bought my Geil ONE W...they said it is everything ok with the sticks and that they have ran the sticks at 250 2-2-2-5 withouth any problems and errors for 48 hours... :rolleyes: But on my system (as in the signature) is unstable and have several errors even at 2-2-2-5 200FSB...with voltages from 2,6V to 3,6V...what should it be the problem?...I can run my Apacer PC4000 at 300 3-4-4-10 2T without problem...could it be the motherboard the cause...? :stick:

if you check the bottom, u will see 022 or 220,
ES is all 330 and it runs faster
but all other we buy will be 220
1st cuz 330 and 220 can't mix
2nd 330 is more expensive then 220

260 2-2-2-5 is defenitelly not good... mine CHEAP (130€) twinmos Speedpremium PC3500 can do 265 @ 3.6 stable and 272 @ 3.8... without any kind of fan in it, and they are only a little warm...
Ive seen more 3700+es with bad mem controllers... maybe thats the prob?

I have tried about 8 differend BIOS-es...but I think it is the MOBO...cause I have problems even to OC my CPU...I managed to OC my venice 3000+ 0517 APAW to 2,7GHZ prime stable 29 hours at 1,456V but no 1mhz more...even at 1,7V :eek: And the same is here...my SD 3700+ can`t go any further than 2,75ghz with 1,6V...Have called the servis for my MOBO and tell them about the geil problem...and they are pretty sure that is the MOBO the cause...I will send it in RMA and hope they could solve my problem... :rolleyes:Quote:

Have finaly found what was wrong with my Geil ONE W...my DFI Ultra-D was causing some problems when it was under stress...now I`m waiting for a replacement...It was really strange, cause I have sent my MB, CPU and ram to the servis and it was runing withouth problems...but when OC-ed it wasn`t stable any more...In this time I have changed the CPU (first I thought it was the CPU problem)...but finally it was the MB...hope it will work 250 2-2-2-5 now ;)

So what is the conclusion? Are they any better than other modules already available on the market?
I would say yes if most sticks could do the following (assuming mem controller is fine):
1. TCCD 2.5-3-3-6 1T 300 at least SP32M stable
2. BH 2-2-2-6 1T 260 3.3-3.4V at least SP32M stable (my old hyperX is 24/7 stable at this speed and volts)

I have read of doing 264 1,5-2-2-5 at 3,6V...Now the prices for TCCD chips is a little bit lower...about 50 EUR...not bad ;)

I have just ordered 2gb of GEIL W, to get the betest and sold the weakers, but im not viewing any results of this GEIL, and i can't find any reviews, only saw Primoz's BH5, and he has problems... if any has these modules, show results :rolleyes:

I have received my MOBO from RMA yesterday...the problem is still there :( After few testings throug PC services I decided to change my Geil ONE W...now I have 2 choices from the shop where I bought my ram:
1. Get 2x512 of other Geil ONE W
2. Get 2x512 of Geil ONE S (TCCD) + 50 EUR
I have decided to go for the TCCD cause have enough problems reguarding BH-5 chips...

not so good for me (did 1M in 27.012s with my last Corsair 4400 TwinX pair) and these two GeiL sticks wont work stable @280Mhz... (work, but only @2,5-4-4-7, i hoped for a 2,5-3-3-6) :mad: 315Mhz is MAX,multipliers x8 & x7 dont help
