I have the 9nda3j and it should boot without issue. I read another user had a winnie and converted to venice on this mobo. He had to clear cmos, reload optimized defaults and it worked. Epox suggests updating to rev E compatible bios afterwards.

This has worked reliably for me for the past week since I got my Venice. I have no problems with warm boots, only cold boots. I hope this helps! :D
What's the WR for a 3500+? Everyone seems to want to bash the Egg chips when mine is doing better than 99% out there. Granted i'm on phase change, it's still a great chip. I'm like 10MHz off from getting a verified pic at 3.5GHz, i really want to match the PR rating :p:

I've been wondering that myself. Look for superpi prescott patch on google or something. Thing is that I'm looking for a superpi that has sse3 patch + milisec patch/anticheat. Can't find it.

Well I just got my new Venice 3200+
Was running Winnie 3200+ 2560mhz stable model CBBID 0505 APEW
Just switched to the Venice chip and left every thing as it was. Booted right up to the overclocked settings of the Winnie no problems. Tested stable so I cranked it up a few times. Up to 2620 stable so far...
Was surprised, no tweeking needed, just kept on scaling.. More test tomorrow. :D

it did 2.7, would prime pass 2.6 though. it did super pi @ 2.720, but thats not 100% stability....and it needed about 1.7v to do 2.7 Super Pi stable.Quote:

5 hours is nothing, I have had crashes at 8 or 13 hours while testing an OC. Most people here will say 24 hours of prime shows true stability. I prefer at least 12 hours for my own CPUs.

this is my current setting. the problem is, that i am not be able to run the venice with 270 2 2 2 8 @ 3,6v. but my corsair is able to do that with my winchester:

Last night I Primed (95) for 11 hours. NO error at 2700 mhz 1:1 (200)divider.
Will Prime at 2800 again tonight but looks 100% stable...
I'm getting a 3200+ 0515APAW from a nice guy Lithan :D. Hopefully it will clock higher than 2700mhz
