I am dissapointed in Hell-Fire, I never thought such a trusted member could turn his back on us like that.
good luck guys :(
im sorry we couldnt prevent this somehow...
Unbelievable :( .... I thought he was a nice guy. Guess not
wow would have never thought this would have gone so far. really quiet sad that it has come to this.
I am simply in awe of this.... Hell Fire has done so much work for me in the past with great success and speedy returns. I am floored he did this to you guys. Hell Fire, I know you're reading this man, the hardware/money you're holdin out on is NOT WORTH a permanent crimal record. This will follow you FOR LIFE bro... trust me. Its not worth it. Screw pride, don't let fear or pride hold you back from coming forward and returning whatever it is you owe these guys.
Come on guys........give him a break.......Maybe he has some money troubles or so.......It's not assame to have money troubles......We all have/had......He may return as soon as he'll be OK.......Don't blame him that much.....He did good things in the past.....You just can't smash his face like that for a crappy mobo or so......HUMANS COUNTS FIRST and all the others comes in second/third....place..... :(
People just want to talk about it. If they start another thread to talk about it, they will be told there is already 2 threads open on it...or will that be allowed? Thanks ;)
EDIT: removed the quote of a post i removed
-saaya
Ppl already talked about it. Like I said, everyone here is disapointed and shocked by his attitudes and already talked about it in a 5 page thread. Now it is time for action and this thread is only for that.Quote:

For ppl that had their hardware held by HF and are willing to do something about it.
EDIT:

wow, this is definitely sad to see, coming from somebody such as Hell-Fire. I was never for his idea of doing mods for people because I know from prior experience(other projects) that it would eventually overrun him and he wouldn't be able to do it anymore.
I feel sorry for you guys, but that's why we put out guides on how to do it yourself:) If you still can't, you're in no position to have the mods done in the first place, no offense to anybody.
Good luck guys
for those who are confused or wonder about some missing/edited posts:
originally this thread was discussing the hell-fire situation, but there was a second thread started wich is supposed to only contain informations and posts to help the victims of hell-fire to coordinate their legal actions wich was stickied, and this thread was closed.
since people kept discussing the basic situation and posted off topic posts in the new thread, here:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=58606
we decided to open this discussion thread again.
now i moved all the off topic posts from that thread to this basic discussion thread to keep the other thread clean. some of the posts were confusing though, wich is why i removed and edited some posts from malves and conrad.maranan and edited one post of TheDude. i removed a quote of a post from conrad.maranan wich was from a post i deleted.
i did this to make the last posts in this thread not look confusing and to make it clear that this thread is for dicussions and this thread
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=58606
is for the hell fire victims or anybody who wants to help them.
i hope this clears up all questions, if you have a question about this or want to complain about this please let me know.

Nice job of cleaning things up and sorting it all out saaya.
While some may "think" this has been discussed enough, as long as 1 person has something more to say they should have the right to post it. I'm glad to see the thread unlocked so people have access again. There's been a lot of thread locking lately.
Both threads make a lot more sense and appear a lot cleaner now.
How old is Hell-Fire? I thought he was still a minor?
thx :)
nah, he was at the university afaik, so he has to be at least... how old are guys in the states when they go to the uni? no idear... but not a minor afaik.
and if you want to complain about a thread getting locked, theres the forum comments section... :)

Now that is a really intelligent statement mudstain. Of course he does not have about $1k of your money.Quote:

He is right, though.
If you cant do them or dont know how they work how do we know after we mod something and send it back to you that you wont just crank it up to 2.5v vcore and then get angry back that we didnt put in a failsafe.
No he is not right. How old are you guys? I am 47 I have been building them since they were SX2-66. Thats right, even before DX. I know how they work, I just can't see how to do the mods even with glasses. All I wanted was to pay someone to mod my sons board. It is not a matter of not knowing what to do with the mods, we read enough to know that. It's about the bottom line. He said he would and could do a service for us. We shipped him the items and payed him well. And the bottom line is he stole our equipment and our money. Period.Quote:

I can't understand why ppl still make it looks like it is an elite thing.
In more than 30 boards modded, I only had one guy frying his a long time ago. IMO you guys are taking this wrong. If you can not provide support for your costumers, then you should not be offering vmods services.
guys, please calm down and dont get personal, kay? :)
heyy sorry everyone, I've been really busy with work... a senior in high school, who would've thunk it. Anwyays I'm gonna get started calling etc.
and acesea - how's the bh5 working out for you? what's your email... I don't think we left each other heat -- a small world indeed
I bought that bh5 to be used with my vmodded abit nf7s... but alas, that never happened thanks to hf :(

I don't really agree with that, I understand how Vmods work and am perfectly capable of doing them myself but it is worth $40 to me to have it done by an expert.Quote:
