They are professionally painted by a paint shop IIRC.
Woah, microfrostbyte? What is that?! is it spawn-of-frostbyte, the waterchiller, or something totally different? (frostbyte was a waterchiller, right...?)
damn those paintjobs are hot.
I believe he draws them up in some program and has them printed (there like big lables)...Quote:

Oh, who has their cases painted? I know it was someone from these forums. I want to make sure I talk about the correct people.
EDIT: It was someone from forums like these, but not these exact forums.
These are like big Lables Vinyl printed and then applied.
hey is minifrostbyte a classic cascade? I remember you were working on a mini sized cascade awhile back but never heard how it turned out.
nice cases. very nice indeed...
Ahhh case skins. I read something in Maximum PC about those.
Wow. I just discovered that the brushed stainless steel case is mine. :D Thanks for the heads up, Reggie!Quote:

So how long is it taking you to build one of these units? Are you doing one step at a time oneach unit then going to the next step? Or are you completing several steps at a time on each unit?
I've found it more effecient to do one major step at a time, Instead of doing multiple steps at a time when I used to do production work building my amplifiers. But I guess amplifier building and refrigeration system building are two totally different beasts.
Went from 7 days to build 4 amplifiers to 12 hours just by tweaking the assembly process, order of operations, the most important ~ Keeping my frickin parts in stock :D .
chilly, could I see some pics of the insides of the microfrostbyte ? me likes that very much :D
:slobber:
just can't take it any more..... vapo section of forum is addictive :banana::banana::banana:.
You'll have to carry everything for me since I've got a bad back. What you don't see in the pics is my other case - a Lian-Li PC-75 with an integrated phase unit. :DQuote:

Russian blue and we are working on a clear case base and all.
Hi there chilly1. I just stumbled across this assembly line thread (been lurking around xs for a while) and this intrigued me. Would you be interested in doing a brushed aluminum casing similar to that of a Lian Li case? I'd really like to get one of these soon, and have it appear seamless with the case. YGPM as well.
Great job on these phase changers
They are looking top quality and I am sure they also perform like they look like. :D
If only i could afford something like this...
Impressive setup chilly1
